We have been linked with David brooks since the transfer window opened, can't see them loaning him out after his performance tonight for Bournemouth.

1.) 25 Jan 2024 20:50:01
Mighty I empathise with your feelings

Best to take these " rumours " with a huge pinch of salt.

2.) 25 Jan 2024 23:20:53
Yep just seen the highlights of that game. Brooks was class as was Sinisterra .

Surely Bournemouth would want to loan out Brooks.

3.) 27 Jan 2024 12:49:40
It’s reared its head again today. Saints also sniffing supposedly. ??.

4.) 27 Jan 2024 14:01:39
He'll probably end up with ?? should they sell KDH next few days.

5.) 27 Jan 2024 14:08:23
That would make sense too George. Can you check yer temperature please? Do you feel ok? Too much sense lately from you, so if you could simmer down, that’d be great! ??.

01 Sep 2023 23:31:45
Sinni out - Looks like Jaidon Anthony coming the others way.

28 Aug 2023 14:11:09
This story keeps popping up about us linked with Antonio is absurd
No way are Weat Ham selling him and even if they did there is no way he is joining us, by all accounts he's on around 80k a week and he's still playing and scoring in the premier league .

21 Aug 2023 13:58:06
Latest rumours / trash talk / paper talk / click bait
Jon Jo shelvey and
Sinni to Brentford?

Personally I think we could do with a Shelvey

Archie and Ampadu
Be hard pushed to play 90 mins week in week out for 46 games

And I think some presence in midfield would be good .

1.) 21 Aug 2023 14:35:06
Always liked Shelvey, good passer of the ball and happy to put a tackle in. I'd take him.

2.) 21 Aug 2023 15:33:03
Hmmm… Kamara or Shelvey… could we do both? Shelvey’s distribution can be world class, but his legs were going two year ago last I watched him. Cards would follow and suspensions. Kamara has better legs and reliable bite. Neither are an Ampadu and neither would be my first choice… but we’re down to third and fourth choices… we just need to get in a striker, a left back as well as think about midfield. Sign ‘em up!

3.) 21 Aug 2023 15:52:30
Uncle Fester? It's a No from me.

4.) 21 Aug 2023 16:22:05
Prefer Kamara to shelvey.

5.) 21 Aug 2023 17:05:42
Massive NO to Shelvey.

He can certainly still pass, but he is really slow, and injury prone. He’s also reportedly fallen out with Steve Cooper, which unfortunately isn’t the first time he’s had a disagreement with a manager. We need to do everything possible to build the spirit in the dressing room after the last two dispiriting seasons an the equally disheartening summer to date - and bringing in Shelvey would not seem likely to help in that.

With his serious lack of pace, I’d rather play Lewis Bate, who also has a very good passing range, or Gyabi who can pass and is faster and stronger than Bate - or even Jenkins or Mortensen from u21s. Basically Shelvey would be taking up potential development spot on the squad for little benefit for the squad.

Obviously I’d far rather we bring in an experienced player, but almost any of those we’ve already been linked with would be a far better options than Shelvey.

6.) 21 Aug 2023 19:10:57
You know everything has turned to rubbish when people who support the team I have supported for 53 years trying to convince themselves that they always liked Jonjo Shelvy. I give in all sense has left the room at Elland Road. F U Radz F U 49ers.

7.) 21 Aug 2023 20:45:52
It's official. there is someone new on this forum even more peeved than I at the sheisters Radz and Co

Step forward Cockneywhite.

20 Aug 2023 11:27:06
Any word on the street of any incoming players?
Nat Phillips, Charlie Taylor, Kamara rumours seem to have rumbling on for weeks .

1.) 20 Aug 2023 13:10:38
Haven’t earnt enough interest yet from sales. Looking at ones for the future at the moment.
Maybe jan.

First half observations - laboured, slow lacking cutting edge, predictable and Bamfords confidence looks shot, crowd is quiet and nervous, Sunderland dangerous on counter and likely will grow in to game .
We have had a wonderful season but feels we are drifting along in to the play offs.

06 Apr 2024 15:55:23
The way this game is going I think I would take a point now . At least it would be in our hands again .

1.) 06 Apr 2024 16:06:51
Yes a lot to be said for taking a point. A long way to go, but not to take anything after Ipswich, s defeat would be a real disappointment. Big improvement needed second half.

06 Apr 2024 12:55:45
I am awaiting the customary 96th min Ipswich winner today.

1.) 06 Apr 2024 13:16:49
Beat me t9 it Mighty, I was thinking same thing.

2.) 06 Apr 2024 13:34:54
And me. Need to be 2 clear by 90 minutes.

3.) 06 Apr 2024 13:39:17
Yeh think we can all see it happening.

4.) 06 Apr 2024 13:58:06
They have to find a Bobby first.

01 Apr 2024 22:35:11
Not sure what to make of that tonight
I thought our generally play was poor and Hull passed it better but overall we created the better chances and won the game which is most important, I don't know about you guys but I'd like to see Joseph and his energy start the game v Coventry . Bamford has been a little lacklustre last couple games.

29 Mar 2024 21:34:16
More goals in open play in 1 half than we have in last 13 games
Why break the Ampadu and Rodon partnership up.

1.) 29 Mar 2024 22:11:40
It's a fair point Mighty, only DF knows the answer to that.

2.) 29 Mar 2024 22:13:25
Farke forked up with team selection as I feared and warned pre match with awful Cooper selection.

3.) 29 Mar 2024 22:21:35
Why play cooper

Monk who was a good manager a goid defensive coach come to leeds and straight the way got rid of cooper for batley…how has cooper played over 250 games for us?

Leauge one Liam for a reason.

4.) 29 Mar 2024 22:28:56
What's this Berm criticism from you for Farke . surely not.

5.) 29 Mar 2024 22:38:29
Couldn't agree more Mighty - that central defensive partnership of Rodon and Ampadu has been the rock around which we've built our success since Christmas.
Still, we move on. Tough round of games for all the contenders on Monday. Could be an enormously telling day.

6.) 29 Mar 2024 22:43:25
The simple solution would have been Gray in midfield for Gruev and play Byram at RB.

7.) 29 Mar 2024 23:14:10
Mr Farke, well done you with the ever reliable Liam completely ballsed that up this evening

Minute I seen his name I knew it would end in bother

But he somehow " bleeds " Leeds so he a grand lad ??.

8.) 29 Mar 2024 23:21:28
Monk was a good manager?

9.) 29 Mar 2024 23:24:35
And the left back?

10.) 29 Mar 2024 23:25:06
Firpo was still playing 36 hours ago on the other side of the world, that’s why Cooper played. Cooper played ok given it was his first game for months.

The whole Welsh contingent were awful in the first half, particularly Ampadu. James was anonymous (all understandable given the week / disappointment they have had) but hey let’s blame Cooper for everything.

Not one player was anywhere the requisite level in the first half.

As for Gray in Midfield being the simple solution; well it wasn’t and being brutally honest this was about his worst game of the season. Kamara was poor tonight also, and the midfield pairings, even after the substitutions were well off it. Firpo made the difference in my opinion. He is a better partner for Summerville and once paired up, they utterly owned that side of the pitch.

I’m happy with the point; this was going to be a difficult game for us and it proved to be. We have slipped up so many times at Easter.

11.) 30 Mar 2024 01:45:18
Baz Farke didn't heed your warning but Woody posted about it beforehand also. His selection for Monday night will be interesting. I'd like to see Gray come into midfield with one of Byram, Roberts or Baby slotting i'm at RB. Kamara and Gray with Amps a regular joiner from central defence is the way to go in my opinion (while Gruev is out injured) . Also, Joseph needs to be brought on earlier in the second half if he isn't going to start.

12.) 30 Mar 2024 02:38:11
Think it waa Cork who a few days ago suggested the Leeds squad was strong.

It's strength in depth got found out a bit today.

George indeed ; which makes Woody 's forecast of Leeds winning 4 1 curious. that was never going to happen

Ani your faves Ipswich are now top . promotion very much on for them.

13.) 30 Mar 2024 02:45:48
Hey Baz…I bet your heart has been skipping a beat all day waiting to post that. Bless….

14.) 30 Mar 2024 03:12:08
Hey Ani what can one say I saw your latest post and was reminded of your clanger of all clangers ?.

15.) 30 Mar 2024 08:30:54
Baz Gonner Clanger. ?.

If creswell isn’t showing the right attitude then I’d rather sell.

I watched Aberdeen v Celtic game on Sunday and he looks quick, direct and strong . I think he could be a good asset
He is on £1600 a week at Aberdeen and cost them about £400,000.
I reckon they’d take £4m
That would pay the clubs wages for a year.

If we keep him, Adams, sinni, Harrison, Wober and creswell then we have the template for a very good championship team and I fancy our chances.

Definitely an assist for Piroe - absolutely.

I thought the penalty and second yellow for Burnley was an absolutely awful decision . Unless I’m missing something it didn’t look like a foul or a pen and certainly not worthy of a second yellow.

I’d probably go with Baz selection
If it’s specifically to add to what we have now then definitely Dorigo a LB and Viduka would
Be perfect for how we play now and Giles would add that little bit of creativity from midfield
. Sounds good to me.
