Read on the BBC gossip pages (Football Insider) that we are looking to sign Diomande (which is great) , but as a replacement for Rondon!
Please tell me this is malicious gossip, that man is a rock that give 200% every game.
1.) 16 Jun 2026 10:06:18
No sale Rodon. For less than 80 mill. Simple.
2.) 16 Jun 2026 13:30:28
Completely agent-led story, nothing in it.
Multiple other parts of the team need improving before we sign a £40m centre-back.
3.) 16 Jun 2026 13:45:11
Not heard of the Rodon angle myself. More expecting it to be Struijk as he enters the final year of his contract.
31 Aug 2023 21:26:01
Blimey Charlie, Kamara has finally signed a 4 year deal. It’s been a busy day.
Maybe another addition tomorrow, hopefully a LB, but that seems unlikely, but let’s see.
I think as a whole, this has been the most productive transfer window I can remember for some time.
If we can keep Sini, Willy and Jimmy and maybe add another forward, I think we’ve got a right squad! Feeling far happier than a few weeks back.
1.) 31 Aug 2023 22:53:29
Oh no. You said productive. And sound positive. Damn you!
2.) 01 Sep 2023 10:30:10
Dont get over giddy fellas.
12 Jul 2023 09:54:58
Looks like Rodrigo off to Qatar, deal done and medical awaits according to Fabrizio Ramano. Good luck fella, fill your bank account and enjoy the sun, shame you couldn’t help us get back to the EPL.
1.) 12 Jul 2023 10:26:26
Indeed MG.
2.) 12 Jul 2023 10:45:14
Agree mid. Like to keep him. But good luck to him. That time of his career self before side.
3.) 12 Jul 2023 11:23:08
Beat me to it. Again.
4.) 12 Jul 2023 12:09:11
Can't understand any team coming for our players after last 2 seasons I hope these younguns shine this season them players on loan can gone run a duck.
5.) 14 Jul 2023 08:22:33
Shame he’s leaving. One of the few last year that looked like he cared.
At his age I understand it. Good luck to him.
09 Jan 2023 08:08:14
Reports this morning are that Leeds are prepared to let Joffy go out on loan for the rest of the season.
I know he hasn’t had much of an impact this season and will be great for him to get games and goals, but hopefully shows that there is another striker due in Jan? Here’s hoping so!
1.) 09 Jan 2023 09:24:25
I’m not sure he is good enough for prem. So hopefully he does well where he goes and they buy him. And yes you would think that indicates incoming.
2.) 09 Jan 2023 10:06:47
A loan at the start of the season would’ve been the best thing, had we landed the right striker then. He needs a full season of regular football to help him fulfill his talent. I’m sure time away would see us getting back a much stronger and capable player. He does have it in him imo.
3.) 09 Jan 2023 13:31:57
You’d think the pope would be a good striker given time bright. Lol.
4.) 09 Jan 2023 17:15:17
I hear he showed a lot of promise in his early days, Aus. ???.
5.) 10 Jan 2023 07:23:51
Yeah, think Joffy was probably overhyped tbh, he gives his all but not sure he’s got enough about him to be a Premier League striker. Hope I’m wrong.
08 Sep 2020 16:36:42
New rumour from a few different sources (French Football News/ Goal) saying we are trying to convince Julian Draxler to join from PSG.
Highly, highly unlikely, but wouldn’t that be epic!
1.) 08 Sep 2020 18:08:11
Epic effort but looks like he prefers living in Paris to living in Leeds
Strange lad.
2.) 08 Sep 2020 18:49:22
Yes apparently he is not interested.
Next!
3.) 09 Sep 2020 00:38:30
Other woody 😂.
4.) 09 Sep 2020 12:43:40
He is on £120,000.a week. Never happening.
5.) 09 Sep 2020 13:16:20
Draxler, Really? let's just park him on the list between Messi and Bale. Just above Ronaldo (Christiano that is) .
Maybe he does prefer Paris to Leeds but he could live in Batley and get the train in.
6.) 10 Sep 2020 11:10:37
Why not Beeston, and just walk to the ground?

12 Aug 2026 21:28:42
Got to keep Seb Bornauw, he's definitely good enough for the EPL and has a great pre season.
1.) 12 Aug 2026 22:02:15
Agreed.
Interesting, he was the only Leeds player who played the whole match.
2.) 12 Aug 2026 22:08:11
Well, his value has increased that for sure. Midfield.
3.) 12 Aug 2026 22:24:19
He's been pretty good in all the games he played pre-season, and he's got a habit of getting on to those Amps long throws (which also look more threatening so far) .
I thought Gnonto was pretty good tonight, and Okafor pretty decent given it's his first run out (and that he never quite looks fit to me) .
Wilson and Stach definitely not hit their straps yet, though once they do (and they will) , they're going to be formidable imo.
4.) 12 Aug 2026 23:33:25
Another good injury-free workout, but it would still have been nice to get the win, especially against them. The player who really impressed me tonight was Willy.
5.) 12 Aug 2026 23:59:41
Some player ratings from Leeds Live.
Jimmy Trafford 9 (a bit generous imo) .
Gnonto 8.
DJ 8.
Okafor 8.
BA 7.
All of our defenders 6 or less, except Rodon.
Wilson 5.
DCL 4.
And Nmecha 2 (a bit harsh, but still) .
So, perhaps we could do with signing an additional striker please.
6.) 13 Aug 2026 00:33:52
Disagree with your "all defenders 6 or less, except Rodon" statement, Baz. I thought Mahremovic was at least a 7 too, with some great saving tackles and good positional awareness.
Also, you rate Gnonto as 8, and I agree. He was playing as a stand-in RWB, and was surprisingly good. Okafor and BA, I also agree, I think both have come back from WC26 with a point to prove.
7.) 13 Aug 2026 00:46:47
Yep, Tarek a 7, JR.. Fair enough.
21 Apr 2026 21:43:16
Leicester relegated ????
Enough said.
1.) 21 Apr 2026 22:07:59
Good riddance and reap what you sow.
2.) 21 Apr 2026 22:09:44
Justice MG!
3.) 21 Apr 2026 22:31:39
Cheats never prosper!
4.) 21 Apr 2026 23:09:48
Have to say I enjoyed this one. Have a dislike for all the ones who've cheated their way up.
5.) 22 Apr 2026 06:24:26
Explain City, so Class, as they seem very prosperous.
6.) 22 Apr 2026 07:57:51
And Everton, who somehow always come up smelling like roses.
7.) 22 Apr 2026 08:04:53
Aye, Chris, of the EPL, crown jewels they are, disgusting it is.
8.) 22 Apr 2026 12:51:52
Good point, Chris, I still think their (Citehs) time will come, Chris. I mean, they practically run the EPL, so it's going to be very slow, but what goes around generally comes back around, no matter how much money you have.
But the EPL board are cheats themselves in that there's a closed shop for the top six teams, and I, for one, truly wished that the Euro League had gone through, when football would have been returned to its true supporters once more.
17 Jan 2026 17:33:24
What a good do!
Never looked like conceding today, everyone had very good games, and a great finish by the big man at the end.
MG very happy.
1.) 18 Jan 2026 08:39:34
Ditto to all that MG! Great, disciplined performance, thoroughly deserving the win, and without 2 key signings from that disastrous summer window too!
23 Nov 2025 13:01:54
FFS, BA starts again!
What pictures does he have of DF to keep getting picked, especially after DJ is fit and played so well for Wales.
09 Nov 2025 15:59:50
I’ve now joined the ‘Farke Out’ brigade. That was woeful.
1.) 09 Nov 2025 16:01:57
Too right mate. Bloke is a moron. Literally useless.
2.) 09 Nov 2025 16:52:56
Absolutely toothless display today, as soon as The Florests equalised our boys heads went down.
Farke is too nice a gaffer, the boys need a Dyche type leader, who gets his teams to graft and bully
I'm off to drown in my Sunday dinner.
3.) 09 Nov 2025 16:59:17
Me too MG. A fresh set of eyes needed. This season was always going to be very, very difficult anyway, but today makes it seem much more difficult than just a scrap for survival.
4.) 09 Nov 2025 17:59:00
Today was the turning point for me too. Up until today I felt he was the best option.
5.) 09 Nov 2025 18:11:05
No he will be fine.

100% JJ.
There are still a lot of young footballers who want to play football and not just receive a hefty pay cheque.
02 Feb 2026 08:37:27
Not if we go down Alf.
02 Feb 2026 08:01:50
Only medicals booked are to check how healthy Paraag's bank account is.
Results are back, it is in a very healthy state as he hasn't f'kin spent anything!
03 Dec 2025 14:21:13
Should have bought Solomon in the summer Aus, cannot understand for one second why we didn't get the deal done.
Well I can, our recruitment team are Pony.
03 Dec 2025 14:19:51
I hope 2 minimum actually means 5 Alf.

12 Aug 2026 15:13:45
Must admit I'm getting frustrated with the apparent lack of progress on any targets.
Even the rumour mill is drying up, Zac Flemming, the kid from Real Betis, and the Brazilian who didn't want to join us last year and who doesn't want to leave Marseille this year!
Has Ryan Kent got a club, he might be available. ?
06 Aug 2026 20:15:30
He's far too good to sell for less than £12m. When he came on against Liverpool, he looked one of the best on the pitch.
03 Aug 2026 07:07:13
By the powers of technology, I managed to tap into LFC TV and watch the game.
They were right that the first half from Leeds was poor: slow build-up, no press, overrun in midfield, and nothing dynamic happening down the flanks apart from a few runs from DJ, and Nmecha not pressing.
Their first goal was embarrassing from our POV, but we had a couple of chances from Nmecha.
Second half, wow, different story. First half we looked a Champo team. Second half we absolutely schooled them.
Borneau coming on for Sicknote Gudmondson made a difference, and he had a great game along with Rodon, and the new CB kid (long name, can't pronounce) controlled it (he is more than a £34m upgrade on Pascal, he is absolute quality) .
Wilson (who is fantastic and going to transform our attack) and Brenda on the flanks with DCL up front instantly changed the way we played. We pressed high and fast (like Liverpool did first half) , and looked dangerous throughout the second half.
The addition of Longstaff for Tanaka (who was out of his depth) changed the middle and controlled it comfortably. Longstaff must start more games alongside Amps and Stach, it works.
A great second half, deserved winners (even the Liverpool biased commentators said so) .
That’s the rest of the BBC article they left out.
23 Jul 2026 16:25:21
Get in first and pay the money (if you believe it is fair and affordable within the nonsense fair play pish) .
After the transfer window, nobody gives a hoot as to whether a player came at a good price or whether it was too high, only that we have the players we want and need.
21 Jul 2026 21:41:53
I'm still smarting over it, Baz. ?
But for the record, I'm a Largie fan and would love him to stay.
