Radz has announced that San Francisco 49ers have increased their stake in Leeds United to 37%.

Be interesting to know how many millions it took for 37% ownership.

Paraag Marathe of San Francisco 49ers is now Leeds United Vice President.

Sounds like around £50m for the 22% they just bought. First 15% we where still in the champ so would have been a lot less. Probably somewhere between £60-£70m for the 37%.
Not bad for a team that cost him £47m 4 years ago.

Watched a half hour of highlights
goals and assists of Rodrigo de Paul and he looks to be twice as good as Saiz . technically brilliant but with more pace, power and end product.

If Leeds can sign him it would be a major coup.

Still feel we need to sign another striker.

It now really looks like QSI are really NOW finally making their move on Leeds United now that Premier League status has been achieved.

Very recently the extremely reputable, credible and reliable Financial Times reported that QSI were moving in on Leeds United with a considerable investment share in Leeds United

And yesterday a very good freelance journalist Connor on his own live you tube show reported with photos from his sources Radz and QSI in meeting also yesterday at an alfresco restaurant in Corsica.

Also that the new Adidas Kit Deal is having Qatar Airways on the shirt with QSI firmly behind that. This would explain why there has been a considerable delay in actually revealing the new Adidas shirt to the fans.

QSI investment in Leeds United is happening folks ( very) sooner or later!

I tend to agree Baz, there are certain things that point to upcoming activity. I also read that we’ve made a signing, but are keeping it hushed until the kit launch is finalised. Fingers crossed!

2.) 06 Aug 2020 17:56:28
Fingers crossed indeed Brighty 👍.

3.) 06 Aug 2020 21:38:46
I’ll believe it when it happens.

4.) 06 Aug 2020 23:23:16
Who is it JKA haha.

5.) 07 Aug 2020 00:10:31
It’s me Canada, but shush! Say nowt!

6.) 07 Aug 2020 10:38:20
It's just between us Bright.

Anyone know how long JKA is out for with his muscular problem.

I don't think even the medical team at ER know that yet.

21 Feb 2020 12:42:01
All remaining 13 games are vital, but just think this Reading game is even more important. win it 2-0.

2 wins in a row, 7 points from 9.2 clean sheets in a row.

building positive promotion momentum.

Bazooka _Viduka

1.) 21 Feb 2020 12:59:07
completely agree. But extend that to the next 4 games. They are all winnable on paper and vital points that we can accrue to hopefully open up the gap a bit.

2.) 21 Feb 2020 20:12:22
Totally agree with both posts! It’s the perfect time to be stringing a good run together!

3.) 21 Feb 2020 22:48:56
If we can manage to win the next four AND KP is able to avoid a further 3 yellow cards in those fixtures, we could go into the tough games v Baadiff and Fulham quite handily placed for the final straight.

Fulham have an incredibly tough run-in. 8 of their last 12 games are against teams ranked above the 12th placed Tups, with whom they've drawn tonight - and only 1 is against a team in the bottom 8.

After QPR tomorrow, the florists remaining fixtures include 4 of the bottom 8, but the rest are in the top 13.

Brentford have 5 of the bottom 8 to face but also 6 in the top half of the table.

We are yet to face 7 of the bottom 8 and 5 in the top half.

4.) 22 Feb 2020 08:01:24
Bazoooka is your account under cyber attack from the ruskies?

5.) 22 Feb 2020 10:00:43
Lol. Taddy White . maybe. or maybe I had a sneaky swig of Brighty's glass half FULL of John. Smith's or Baby Cham when he wasn't looking.

My opinions of Radz and Orta haven't really changed though. but they have been put to one side. just 100 % fully focussed now on the matches and promotion momentum please God . MOT.

6.) 22 Feb 2020 11:31:10
Be careful Baza don’t mention momentum it didn’t do comrade corbynoff any good last year 😂.

The season is almost over, gone quickly and

It's been a fab EPL season to remember for Leeds United fans and a season that it would be fair to say stands out from the usual routine almost dull previous EPL seasons

The GOOD

1) El Magico Bielsa and his hugely impressive ethics, integrity, football nous and positive influnce on so many in football throughout the season

2) the mighty Leeds United back in the EPL, the club more than any other playing in the largest percentage of exciting games, recognised and appreciated by a lot of neutral fans as a big, big plus to the EPL this season.

3 ) the so called bigger clubs getting beaten quite a bit and struggling particularly in the first half of the season

The BAD

1) No fans in the stadium for the vast majority of the season ; definitely missed to enhance the spectacle and atmosphere

2) the consuderable failure that is VAR and other match officials plus the flawed offside rule and the handball rule as they were when the season started

The UGLY

1) the despicable Dirty 6 backdoor attempts at a closed shop anti merit ' Super' League monopoly

Yep, it's been quite an unusual season!

Looks like " Ben White' s Brighton" saved one of their best performance for their cup final against Leeds last week,

as they are back to their habit of not winning matches again ( this time with a defeat against Wolves)

Leeds United now 13 points ahead of the not so smug BHA 😂😂.

Bazooka _Viduka

1.) 09 May 2021 15:32:23
Ben White, had a great Championship campaign but from the edited highlights I have seen of him thus season I don't believe he has taken to Premier League football to the level of our Dallas or Phillips have.

And with my white-tinted glasses I would say we have bought better in Llorente, and Struick has upped his game to such an extent that he all but covers what White is doing at BHA.

Llorente also gives us more leadership quality too.

And yesterday Koch deputised for Phillips as well as White ever did.

I like to think my early season positivity is now warrantied.

2.) 09 May 2021 15:48:57
Fully agree Axe; good post.

3.) 09 May 2021 16:22:30
Think white would've come on much more under the leadership of Bielsa and playing for Leeds.

4.) 09 May 2021 18:05:54
Pascal the big win for us this year. Bielsa developing him into a world class defender. Could be as good as Van Dyke in time.

5.) 09 May 2021 22:09:37
Think you’re right there Alf possibly the next Vincent Kompany, either way none of us were predicting Struick would have developed as well as he has, especially when learning his trade in the Premiership.

We look very different proposition with Struick and Llorente as a partnership.

6.) 10 May 2021 15:11:21
Just hope that is our first choice pairing now or either of Pascal and Llorente with Koch. Coops has done as good a job for us as he could have done but we need to up the quality in the team.

09 May 2021 13:27:47
Love it that El Magico Bielsa and the Leeds United lads performances and results over the ENTIRE SEASON NOW continue to disprove and make ABSOLUTE FOOLS of so many lazy, dim, biased amateurish 'pundits' claims :

Gobby Ablonghor's ' Bielsa is a myth ' forever being the most ridiculous, mostdimmest one ever🙄 😂.

Bazooka _Viduka

1.) 09 May 2021 14:24:16
Just a simple set of nobodies and poor has beings using us to try be relevant again!

2.) 09 May 2021 16:49:43
Pundits are fed hundreds of questions and will occasionally get one wrong. Yeah it was nonsence but when asked the question he can’t turn around and say “sorry I know nothing about Leeds or bielsa” can he? It’s not usually pundits going out of there way just to insult clubs. Stop taking it personally. It’s just a question asked that’s answered incorrectly in our opinion.

3.) 09 May 2021 17:17:54
I think with Gobby, it is always a personal slur at Leeds and Bielsa, he has got an issue with us and takes every opportunity to try and put us down. Thankfully he is very much in the minority, as he genuinely has no idea how to be a pundit!
He tipped Vile for Europe! What a plum.

SuperLeeds 3 ⚽️⚽️⚽️ vs " Not so super 😃" Spurs 1 ⚽️!

VERY entertaining match, thoroughly deserved win, great to see Klich playing much better!

My Top 3 favourite Leeds performances/ results so far this season

1st Citeh 1 vs Leeds 2
2nd ) Leeds 3 vs Spurs 1
3rd ) Leicester 1 vs Leeds 3.

Bazooka _Viduka

1.) 08 May 2021 15:40:17
Hey fellas, not being on in a while, well done today great win, Leeds finishing season strong 👌 going to be close between us and you for finishing position, nevertheless a good season for both of us.

2.) 08 May 2021 19:55:27
Shame Jack has been out for so long for your boys Whack or I think you would be much higher.

03 May 2021 18:00:26
In 2018 / 2019 I was at times somewhat critical of Victor Orta's transfer recruitment and it could be argued to say he had more misses than hits at that time.

Victor has thankfully improved somewhat in 2020 transfers whilst still making a few transfer mistakes

Yet he really needs to improve still further in summer 2021 window in what I feel will be the MOST IMPORTANT TRANSFER WINDOW of his Leeds United career to date to SOLIDIFY the Leeds United squad with more quality players who are

1) completely suited to playing effectively in the EPL to make regular important contributions

And

2) not sicknotes with previous injury histories. The recruits must be physically strong enough to compete for an entire 38 game demanding EPL season.

Go to it Victor!

Bazooka _Viduka

1.) 03 May 2021 19:07:50
Totally agree Baz. This summer is crucial and will be the litmus test for success (or Sheff U) . I too, was one of Ortas detractors with his Machine Gun approach to recruitment. The fact that we are where we are is however a compliment to his methods. The higher the position, the larger the fee, the bigger the gamble. Of course, the easy way out for him now would be to read our posts. We have answers for every position and problem.

2.) 03 May 2021 20:39:04
Orta has been awful. Yes he has had a few lucky hits but the majority of his signings have been poor and he has wasted a heck of a lot of money. I would prefer someone else be in charge of transfers but can't seenit. We are stuck with him.

3.) 03 May 2021 21:56:02
Hehe Alf, I had a feeling you would make such comment about Victor, given your previous posts on him over the years

But there is no doubt Orta has improved his recruitment success ratio with a ( very) good 2020 and so perhaps NOT true for you to say he has been ' awful' overall, but prior to 2020 yes far from good.

Ortas good buys in 2020
Raphinia
Meslier
Llorente
Koch
Geldhardt
Summerville
Drameh
Greenwood

Jury still out on Rodrigo due to his stop start season

Costa and Poveda? Maybe not.

4.) 04 May 2021 06:27:27
Well I don't think any youth players can be counted despite them winning the league as the primary focus is to have a competitive first team. Koch and Llorente both spent the majority of the season out injured which wasn't a great help and Rodrigo has been a complete flop for 27 million pounds. Meslier we had last season but he has certainly been a good signing and don't forget the woeful Costa who I think was a complete waste of money. Out of the 5 big money signings this year only Raph has shone so far for me and a 1 in 5 ratio is not good enough, especially since one of those 5 cost 27 million. Imagine what Brentford could have done with 100 mill.

5.) 04 May 2021 09:27:50
Spot on, I totally agree this next window is vital. In this division you have to spend £50-£100m to stand still so picking up an unexpected gem is vital along with players who are as said injury free and of the quality they need to go straight into match day 11 or squad at worst. There’s a few names mentioned all year that do fit that Bill there’s a few that in my opinion don’t.
Buckle up and enjoy the ride.

6.) 04 May 2021 11:08:39
Agreed Me and Leo

Alf, I think at least 2 of those 4 youth players Gelhardt and Drameh ( combined cost £2 million) will have EPL careers, so that will become very good business.

Llorente in particular and Koch have already shown in perfomances they are ( very ) good but yes crucially they must stay injury free from now on ( my criteria 2 ) to be deemed good signings.

7.) 04 May 2021 18:50:49
How many youth players that Orta signed have actually made it Pascal? Pascal actually would be one. Did Orta sign him or was he already here?
Poveda yet to impress, Shacks I think was already with us so who else?

8.) 04 May 2021 19:44:08
Alf

Orta signed Pascal from Ajax in January 2018

and as I previously said I anticipate at least 2 possibly all 4 youth recruits of 2020 :Gelhardt, Drameh, Sommerville and Greenwood to make it eventually in the EPL.

So yes Alf,
Orta's transfer success was patchy to say the least between 2017 to 2019 but he has improved considerably in 2020 but Victor Orta needs to step it up still further in 2021.

9.) 04 May 2021 23:56:52
Those list of players you mentioned, Summerville, dremeh geldhart Greenwood haven’t played barely a minute of first team football between them yet you put them in a list of good signings and costa and poveda you put it not so good signings . I can’t fathom your logic . Costa has done more than any of those players put together for Leeds United.

10.) 05 May 2021 01:00:32
Mighty

Poveda has no end product and physically weak. I don't think he will make it, certainly unlikely at EPL level but time will tell

As for Costa, he is I believe mid 20s, if he was going to make it at EPL level he should be demonstrating it regularly by now ; Wolves got rid for good reason it seems.

Although Costa has some talent, he seems to lack belief and confidence. He also needs to strengthen up. He also cost a lot of money in £15 million.

The 4 youth players Gelhardt, Drameh, Summerville and Greenwood are in their teens, just starting out and have their entire playing careers ahead of them .

I have watched virtually all of the U23 games and it is my opinion that Geldhardt and Drameh in particular will indeed have successful EPL careers, and be far more successful than Costa ever will. Coupled with that, they cost a fraction of Costa's transfer fee.

Time will tell, but I am uber confident that I will be proved correct and that Gelhardt and Drameh in particular will be excellent signings for Leeds United.

Agree with Brighty on this one . Jansson definitely not missed certainly not EPL standard.

I do miss Roofe's goals though.

As for Chris and Berm, one could say it is no longer credible calling Cooper ' League one Liam ' . he more than proved he was effective to good Championship standard last season.

No difference at all LUFCfeath the lack of consistency is absolutely shocking added to more than suspicious bias and favouritism towards a few clubs most obviously Penchester amongst a few others

the faceless sinister VAR goons continue to bring the integrity of football into disrepute and the impotent and / or collusive football authorities do absolutely nothing about it.

It stinks.

The reliable well informed Phil Hay stated in a podcast about 4 to 5 weeks ago that

1) Leeds would spend ( significantly) less money this summer on transfers

And

2) that Rodrigo De Paul would definitely NOT be coming to Leeds (in the summer) , but Leeds would sign a similar De Paul type player.

So Leeds with a smaller budget will most likely be recruiting mainly or entirely from other leagues overseas (as opposed to the vastly inflated UK market) for value like they got with Raphinia.

As such 100% sure none of the players you mentioned above Melbourne will be joining Leeds this summer.

Good posts Class and Clu

The EFL deducted 9 points off Birmingham in the same season when I I understand their own rule states points should have been. deducted the following season🙄

If there is a points deduction for Direby it will be like Sheff Wed for next season and be just a ridiculously small 6 points on appeal.

Good news though is that regardless Direby are now an absolutely woeful team☺️.
