Helder Costa leaves by "mutual consent" Suppose I'll get pelters for this but hey, everyone has an opinion. I don't think he was that bad a player and he's received the rough end of the pineapple. He was a "bargain" compared to some of our other dodgy signings and showed flashes of teal talent. Anyway, just my opinion, I'll put on my tin hat and wait for the abuse! ALAW MOT.

Agree to an extent
Very good in Championship winning season
Started off well in EPL ; then lost some confidence when he scored that deflected own goal against Palace

Needed to. strengthen his body: definitely had talent and technical skills.

I agree with all above . Wish him well and hope he finds a suitable home.
I think he was bought for his pace. As James was by bielsa. Costa struggles came as our team got better and teams made it difficult for us sitting deep and frustrating. He had no space to run into and couldn't use his pace. He found it hard to take on or penetrate the packed defence.

Agree he did well for us in champ and started life in prem on fire.

Sadly he didn’t quite work out… worth mentioning that Belisa was going to quit if we didn’t buy him… which also says a lot.
