Leeds look set to win the battle to sign Chris Wood with Dave Hockaday agreeing to meet Wood's 25k per week wages.

Wolves' Kevin McDonald has admitted he would be interesting in joining the club following an equiry from Hockaday. It's believed Noel Hunt will go the other way.

If that was true I'd even consider voting Tory

Dave Hockaday has stated that he suggests players he would like but doesn't get involved in contract negotiations.

3.) 18 Aug 2014
I find it hard to believe that the decision on how much to pay a player is Mr Hockadays decision to make!

4.) 18 Aug 2014
Would be good but can't see us paying 25k a week also think Antenucci and Adryan are priorities then just need a ball winning midfielder and a pacey winger

5.) 18 Aug 2014
Hock wouldn't have the authorisation to give him 25k a wk, mc does the contracts and he certainly isn't going to start offering that sort of money a wk

No chance of 25k a week, especially after the Agard situation

7.) 18 Aug 2014
Why would hockaday agree to paying him 25k? He's only the coach

As reliable a sauce as pasta is I find it hard to stomach this rumour. would be amazing woods is a real force at this level and his prem record of 1 in 1 ain't bad either. selling hunt to league rival is great advantage as you can almost half there total goal tally by playing hunt
