Play offs realistic if we keep our current squad do we think? Everybody happy and GM gets the best out of them, where do we see Leeds this time in April?

With the current squad? No, though I really don't think we need much.
Said at the end of the season it was imperative that we sign Bridcutt or someone similar. Having a player break up attacks, cover players that go forward and hassle every opponent who gets the ball in midfield is really important if you want to play Monks style of dynamic attacking football. Add the loss of Cook and we could do with another body in the middle anyway.
Also think we need a natural right winger too (Which may well be Limbombe) . Botaka hasn't shown enough, and although Roofe and Antonsson can play out wide, I would like to see an out and out winger come in.
Current squad = top ten but not much better, add a decent holding mid and a natural right winger, my guess would be 3rd-5th.

Best time to pose such a question is at the end of August.

Good shout Gummie. I agree we are still a little short of that play off position. I do think top 10 is a strong possibility, but with several additions in key areas we have a good shot. Let's see where we are come mid to late October.

Limbombe Is Mainly A Left Winger and We Have Sako For The Right Wing Gummie.

Limbombe is natural on both sides taffmeister, just depends on how you want him to play, but he is a right footed player which makes him a more conventional winger (rather than an inside forward) on the right side.
As for Sacko I really don't see him as a first team starter, has only really done anything in the Portuguese second division with Sporting B. Lot of pace so maybe useful off the bench or as backup but a huge risk to have him as our main option.

Good postages Gummie.

Sacko will surely be primarily used as a sub first season as he alters to the pace of the Championship.

Really good question but very difficult to answer as it can depend if we have seen the best of certain players. A manager like Allerdyce, for example, can take a squad of players that look awful, manage/ coach them differently and suddenly they look much, much better. This will hopefully be the case with Monkey and he will get the best out of the lads that are already here, add a few new players and take us to top, top, top of the league.

I can dream can't I?

MOT.

Alf I would hope Monk is a big Step up from the overrated "big Sam" who has a manager has done very little in Las 10 years gained a couple of promotions about 20years ago Allardyce makes an average team look em average.

If we don't sign Bridcutt it shows a serious lack of intent.

Why did I expect someone to disagree.
Bridcutt was arguably our second best player last season and we can't afford him this season.
What kind of message does this give out?

I didn't think we was that far off last season with regards to players.

It was the cohesion and the togetherness of the players that lacked and also a winning mentality.

If Monk can instill that into them I see this team doing alright, definitely top 10 and higher.

I think one kind of player we do need is a naturally creative player but that's about it.
