I might be over egging it (! ) - but watching Struick stroll round the pitch intercepting and passing reminded me of Socrates. Think we might have a serious talent there.

People Wasn’t saying that earlier in season when his mistake cost us a goal, loads saying on here he wasn’t up to it then. What a difference a couple of games make.

i don't think you are over egging it from what i have sad

tad is right he did make a couple of mistakes but he seems of of learnt from them

only a few games and look at clarke looked amazing for leeds and now what has happened to him but we can only judge from what we have sseen and so far so (crates) good

i think we can hve a more educated guess on shacks who for me is england bound.

Saw some suggestion somewhere that Struijk has been so down about his error in the Baadiff game that he was seriously thinking of packing his bags and heading back to Holland, and that both Bielsa and Orta talked with the lad to convince him that they were confident in his abilities and he should stay.

Don't know how much truth there is in that, but he looked pretty assured during the last 3 games - starting to replicate at a senior level the kind of form he showed at Ajax Academy which apparently convinced Orta to bring him to Leeds. He has at times been excellent with the U23s, so hopefully he can kick on from here.

Is it just me, or is there something of John Charles about the lad, and of course he stated out at CB. If he can have half the impact Charles had with the club, I think we will all be happy.

Cluey Struick is no central defender. He's either a defensive midfielder or old fashioned sweeper so the former in today's game.
