Friday night's game was probably the best I've Leeds play over the ninety minutes. I was concerned at half time because of the chances we had missed and I expected Villa to come back stronger. Bamford had an exceptional second half after making the game look like are run of the Wolves game. I hope he's turned a corner. He certainly has the skill to be a goal scorer just needs the confidence or right mental set. Looking forward to see how he gets on in the next few games. The team as a whole played well including Shackleton who covered for Phillips and Struijk very well and we lost nothing because of the injuries to Cooper and Phillips. In fact we did better. Games always have fine margins. We survived the two Grealish moments and Meslier pulled off another good save but other than that we dominated. The key was that we didn't concede. All in all an excellent performance. Meslier gets better by the game, Ayling was outstanding. Alioski and Dallas were excellent. No weak links at all. Struijk will be back. Just was a little too keen. Same team that left the field at half time for the text match?

Perfect post but you didn’t mention harrison.
Don’t think we need Struijk just yet tbh. Unpopular view but way lacking ability.

This is the first time Leeds have won convincingly (in performance and scoreline) since returning to the EPL under Bielsa.

I have a feeling this result and performance against Villa will be the confidence catalyst to supercharge our season with many more convincing scoreline victories.

Definitely looking up the table now ( rather than down)

Hoping for the same line up against Leicester that started against the villains.

Without doubt Struick has played more than he or Bielsa would have imagined in the prem this soon in the season, starting 3 games and big games in two different positions. Big call for the lad. Thought he lacked confidence today in Cm in the first half but made a real contribution in the second as CB but with a lot of the ball going forward. Needs some tlc now. Interesting to see how Bielsa handles the next game.

I have great faith in stuijk and shacks and for me was best performance by a mile plus with players out. things looking great.
