All I'm seeing from other teams in the mire, is their players fighting tooth and nail to stay in this league. All I'm seeing from our lot is whimpering submission. They were outstanding last season, and the one before, when their tails were in the air, but none seem to have the stomach for a scrap. That disappoints me more than anything.

have to disagree Alf look at those around us and slightly above us, do they have stronger squads? who in the Branford, palace, burnley, Brighton squad are you picking over ours? we have spent serious money and the board have spent far more and back Bub's than most other teams.

alf, we all know is Bub's is not happy he walks. Now he has never walked. We all know Bub's has the final say with transfers. the most famous being costa when he wanted a replacement for Pablo and said he will not sign a new contract unless we signed costa.

and yes I would say serious money, Bamford was 12 million costa was 13, that's a lot for a championship club, then we spent 120 million in one window, dan James for 25 million. Now I make that 170 million plus loan fees, players I am not sure about. We have spent between 170-250 million recently

now when you compare that to the big clubs no that is not a lot but when you compare it too the likes of Palace, Brentford, Brighton, West Ham and a lot of other clubs this is a lot of money.

The board have given Bub's a lot of backing and you ask a lot of clubs have leeds spent the answer would be yes, I think a lot of leeds fans have lost perspective of this

then add that unlike even villa who lost jack we have spent all this keeping Kal and Raph

Bub's has been given more time and money than most.

you say villa have spent 350 odd million but they made 100 million on Grealish that is a chunk back, West Ham again big spend but they are near top four so fair enough

but we have spent around 200 million and kept our best players, so is relegation good value for money?

Imagine a Brighton, burnley, Palace fan listening to us moan at only spending 200 odd million?

of course we can not compare with big five/ six. Maybe villa and West Ham have spent slightly more than us but we are doing a lot worse than them

we are behind Brentford who sell their best players year after year, palace who spent no money and lost something like 20 players and soon possibly Burnley who when we spent 120 million they spent 750K

Eds what do you think on this as neutrals have Leeds not back the team enough to expect better results is 200 million roughly not more than a lot of Prem teams when not losing Kal or Raph?

thanks Ed it is good to hear an outsiders view and makes my faith in Bub's a little better.

I think our squad is better than most give credit for and full of internationals and as a fan of rad's I would say 170-250 million is more backing than most but maybe that is because I am close to the club so have a view that is too close to the trees.
