Up with my lads for the game today. Just waking up in city centre Hotel - it does feel like the dawn of a new era. Players who didn't want to be here and who were able to - have gone. Not sure it's a Leeds thing though. They just want to play at the highest level and will go to any team (no matter how two bob or however unlikely to win trophies they are) that will give them that - hence Adams and Sinisterra to Bournemouth (and Hamer to SU whilst I'm on the subject! ) . I can't understand Sinisterra not being sold though. The idea of him coming back if we go up is laughable. No graft, no glory etc. The two aforementioned clubs have been well run though - and we haven't - and that's the saddest part. Relegation last year was so emphatically avoidable - but we start afresh today. Farke has also moved on some who he clearly doesn't feel are good enough for the challenge just yet and has brought in some who he thinks are. I agree with other posters - Daniel Farke seems to be the best signing out of all of them. A manager, not just a coach. He has dealt impressively these last few weeks - not least with the media side. Firm but with humour. He's in charge - and I get the feeling the Americans have added some support and steeliness to the transfer dealings - loan clause debacle aside. I'm looking forward to seeing our new team walk out today and to hearing some noise. Come on Leeds!

Good post Manston, think probably had a lot to do with sorting out the want aways and Willy etc. I would say he’s done an excellent job which is not really anything to do with the football played on the pitch.
We will know by the end of this season, just how good Daniel Farke is. My money is on him getting us promoted this season, that is a big call and ask when you consider with what has been thrown at him.

I don’t think he suffers fools likely and will deal with every situation presented to him with an honest and hard response.
Like the way he’s responding to the fans also, he’s ticking all the boxes so far, as far as I’m concerned.
Long May it continue.
Let’s smash those Wendies.

5 points on the board with a bit of good luck and not bad luck it could have been 8… those who chose to leave… “Chuck ‘em” with a capital F. Those with us… let’s cheer them on to be our next legends. ALAW. MOT.
