#underwhelmed, but it is wat it is, no point moaning about who we should of got etc etc, window shut so we have wat we have and on the 49ers heads be it, FFP i think played a massive part of that, let's just get behind the team and hope we get top 2, (imo no) but I've been wrong before.

Good point Richie, certainly no point stressing about what we cannot change, Roberts looks a good buy, hopefully he gets up to speed quickly.

I think we have sufficient cover for nearly everyone now, gawd forbid injuries strike, other than Rodon, O think he’s become the most important player in our side but he’s a strong lad and hopefully Charlie will be busting a gut to show he’s ready if needed.

Left back should be ok between Sam, Firpo and at a push Pascal, goals is my biggest worry, especially if Jimmy or Rutter (for chances he creates) gets injured but hey, we have what we have let’s play every remaining fixture like we did against Ipswich at Elland Road and see where it takes us!

FFP seems to have hit a lot of teams and made them very cautious this window. Saw somewhere yesterday that 8 EPL teams haven't brought anyone in this window, which is definitely not the status quo. Leicester haven't signed anyone. Ipswich minimal players in. Saints only 2 players in and Alcaraz left.

Definitely feels underwhelming, but in context we're in line or have done better than the teams around us.

Plus, Roberts has (or will) improved our first team, rather than being a squad filler.

Show me the accounts Wex that you’re basing that wild, inaccurate, baseless statement on. That is all presumptive, but commonly used guff, by most fans, to question their clubs spending. Fans, yes. Policing costs, stewards, turnstile staff, electricity, every other overhead that would make this post longer than the page, PLUS, every cost from that list that is incurred EVERYDAY while the stadium is empty. Look at the bigger picture!
