Said it before and I'll say it again, don't really care if we are elite or not. Just as much fun and excitement in lower leagues if you are competitive — game much more honest to. Great to be in any promotion or top of league race, icing on cake is being competitive in domestic cups.
Don't want to bother with Europa and Conference leagues - meaningless crap.

I like winning. Games competitions whatever, although I don't go much on domestic cups. With two windows before next season I'd be happy qualifying for conference or Europa. Think we would be ready and enough strength in depth to cope. Also think we'd have a good chance of winning either or.

I tend to agree with the 1st paragraph 70'. I support Leeds Utd, and I reckon pretty much all fans of this club are the same. As long as I can watch the game, wherever I am, I'm happy.
Sadly, while I agree that those 2 competitions are a novel creation purely to create revenue for the associations, they would also build our revenue, reach and global awareness, which our club also needs in the modern game. I dont want us in them too soon for our sustainable growth tho either.

I doubt any of the participants let alone winners of the UEFA Europa League ( previously UEFA cup ) think it is " meaningless crap"
The winners also qualify for the highly lucrative Champions League.

The lesser euro leagues easier to win than domestic cups for sure Get home and away games for starters.

Premier League clubs have far more funds better squads than most of their European counterparts
although Sevilla under Emery specialised in winning the Europa League.
It's a good competition.
I'd much rather Leeds win the UEFA Europa league than the League Cup for starters; it has far, far more prestige!

I'd add that qualifying for Europe still has a level of attraction for potential signings in the transfer window too. If we seen as 'in Europe' that coming season, surely would up the level/quality of players that would consider us compared to now, without euro?
Thinking of Paxo as an example (regardless of whether you'd want him or not!) - in the summer, Sunderland were apparently a genuine option for him because they'd qualified for Europe. Marseille playing in Europe, seemed to be a big part of him choosing them over us the year before too. Brandt stalling commiting to us weeks after our contract offer, then signing for Ajax as soon as they came in for him sounded like a similar situation due to their Euro Conf League qualification.
Finally, would it maybe also give us that bit more chance of holding onto players like Tarik who i'm sure will already have interest from supposed bigger teams. Maybe if we qualify for europe it'd be the difference between choosing to leave or not if/when any offers come in from from them?
