Ok, I’m sorry for the negative posts guys but again I’m baffled by Orta! Wolves top of the league by 10 points are in the market for Grabbon who has scored 12 goals for bottom club Sunderland, they are also looking a Spanish striker at £12M! Derby 2nd are in for Norwich City’s Nelson Olivera at £8M! Cardiff 3rd and Aston Villa 4th Bristol City 5th and Sheffield United 6th are all buying or actively looking at players, apart from Wolves going Spanish all the other transfer links to all the teams in the top six are proven Championship players, what the bloody hell is Orta doing? Every player we are linked with is either been bought for another day or a complete unknown with no idea! We need a goal scorer and Grabbonfits the bill! Nelson Olivera would be good but as usual we won’t pay! All teams above us are strengthening and some teams directly below are doing the same! At this rate we will get left behind and before you know it we will be mid table with no chance of finishing in the top six!

Sunderland have parachute payment as do villa so their not short and looking and buying are different things. We have paid around 3 million for a LB and have nearly 3 weeks to go what's the problem

Wolves superior business model and in better position to "gamble" with tried and tested English championship players. We were always going to go foreign. We have Orta and a foreign owner who bought the club from another foreigner and he bought it from a tight fisted cheapskate. I'm hoping though they've learned their lesson. Still 2 weeks left of this transfer window. Does make you ponder where we'd be had we secured English based talent instead of some of these Mediterranean softies. We'd probably be no lower than 2nd. Next season will be tougher because it looks like clubs who been in the PL for a fair few seasons could be relegated. They'll have money to burn. Could be now or never.

Sunderland don't have any money wex, it's all been pulled out by the owners, they took 30 mil for Pickford and gave Larry less than 2 mil to bring players in, Coleman has said himself the best he can hope for is to bring in a loan player, maybe 2

I swear to god Whiteman my mate, Wex misses the point every time! I never said anything about Sunderland spending or having money to spend! I’m on about the bloody top six and a few more below us Wex! Open you’re eyes and look at what is happening now, look at how we are playing and if out of around 25 signings you can only pick Pontus, Siaz and whoever then what about the others! Wex, it’s hard to accept but come on mate, how much proof do you need, nearly all of us on here are singing the same song, if you think things are good then good luck luck with that one!

I give up Whiteman mate, even George who makes a great point gets it wrong according to Wex, we are all wrong mate, you, me, Alf, George, Mezzer, Leeeeeds, Aus, Bige, Leodis, Martyn, and many many more! It must be us mate, maybe we expect to much for our £100 in costs for every match. I would like to add Wex that Derby, Cardiff, Bristol City, Sheffield Utd, Preston, Ipswich, and Wolves have had no parachute payments, some of those have never had payments, it’s like Whiteman said “Ambition” you need to take the blinkers off!

I just keep thinking how many millions and millions has orta wasted. All the rubbish bought and their wages. All the u23 squad on long term contracts even if they turn out league 3 standard. and most importantly. He has probably cost is the chance of promotion from the easiest championship for years and years.

Wex Sunderland are skint! Wex, if West Brom and Stoke go down they'll buy their way out of the league and then some. Rest assured.

Thanks MW67. Whitewoman, it's got nowt to do with ambition. The ambition is there. The word is method. It's all about method. The balance is wrong right now. Personally, I'd fire Orta at the end of the season. TC has done a fairly good job with what he's been given so keep him on.

I get the harder next year mentality. Anyone in the relegation zone must be putting something aside now for the rainy day that is coming. Maybe even scouting for the same rainy day.
