Not an ideal situation with players out but a chance for a few to shine.
I think Harrison is showing signs of being a key player for us.
Will need 11 players on the pitch against the wall and all of them to do their role well.
Suspect a draw but hope for a win.
Speed can undo them.

1.) 14 Sep 2018 23:34:42
Worth noting that this is not the same Milwall we came unstuck against last year. We have the second best goals against in the comp and Milwall are leaking like a sieve. Even without our frontrunners I think I believe can take this.

2.) 15 Sep 2018 18:58:33
Kiwis we had trouble finding that sieve.

3.) 15 Sep 2018 21:59:07
It did seem somewhat clogged Whiteman. Glad for the point in the end. I feel it wouldn't have been forthcoming last year.

4.) 15 Sep 2018 22:31:05
Kiwileeds agreed mate let’s hope they find it next time round.

25 Jul 2018 00:06:13
The problem with loan players is they don't always play to their potential and have not the conitement. We may get 3-4 Prem loan players last minute. But they will take 3-4 weeks to bed in and in this league. That's about 5-6 defeats.

Ausman1

1.) 25 Jul 2018 03:33:50
Not really. Some of our best players have been loanees over the last few seasons - unfortunately we never secured them on a permanent 😬.

2.) 25 Jul 2018 09:29:52
I hope you don't mean grimes peacock.

3.) 25 Jul 2018 12:04:25
Bartley for example. if you go back through the years . then we have had some gems. as well as some lame ducks🤔😂👍.

4.) 25 Jul 2018 16:50:49
The big trouble with the good loans is that they turn to carp if we sign them.

15 May 2018 01:18:02
$3.1mill? Mbakugu deal done they say. Bargain? 😃

Ausman1

1.) 15 May 2018 07:09:41
Carpi will be laughing there socks off

2.) 15 May 2018 07:09:57
Taxi for orta

3.) 15 May 2018 07:32:19
Capri might be Martyn, but we aren't.

4.) 15 May 2018 08:39:57
Expect more if the same LUFCfev it's going to be a rollercoaster ride this summer. Feels like groundhog day

5.) 15 May 2018 09:11:42
Too right about Groundhog Day ffs. When will they learn. Utter morons. Could of picked up a free agent and paid him $50k a week.

6.) 15 May 2018 09:32:39
I understand everyone's thoughts, and tend to agree to be honest, but it's not the lads fault, so let's give him a chance before destroying him, and support him. Not many had heard much of Lucas when we signed him either.

7.) 15 May 2018 09:39:43
Or wilekdward. Inspired that was.

8.) 15 May 2018 13:57:45
might turn out to be the new Yeboah

9.) 15 May 2018 16:52:55
I think Aussie should have used a much bigger question mark altho I hear what your saying Brighty. Lets's reseRve judgment it's just his CV doesn't look too clever.

10.) 15 May 2018 17:32:59
Or the new ekuban alf

11.) 15 May 2018 22:21:53
Exactly Martyn, and Alf. we just don't know til we see 'em

12.) 16 May 2018 12:46:59
We can guess though bright. Let’s be honest mate. What are the odds of him being a Yeboah with Orta scouting?

12 Feb 2018 01:01:49
Good morning lads. Just watched the game. Did bussleton jetty swim at the weekend so unable to watch live. A slight improvement from us i thought. We played semi well for a few bits of the game. Few iffy ref decisions. Prob deserved the draw. Quite a lot of improving still needed but we had more passion and whole team put effort in. Lacking in quality in few areas and roofe, sacko, okane, phillips don't seem to have the ability needed. Hopefully viera regains his mojo. Saiz to come back and tyler lass and eukaba to fight it out for frontline. Optimistic without being completely happy.

Ausman1

1.) 12 Feb 2018 13:47:14
how did your swim go Aus? How far was it?

2.) 12 Feb 2018 22:56:56
Its a long jetty alf. Ha ha. From beach. Round jetty to beach finish is 3.7km. Bit choppy for a while. First go at it. 1 hr 22 min. Well chuffed with the time. Would jave been happy with 1 hr 45 lol.

3.) 13 Feb 2018 08:49:13
Quicker than it takes lassy to get from box to box

09 Feb 2018 00:41:59
Think lassoga is a luxury we can't afford atm. For the amount of touches he has during a match and the little he does with them i'd use him as a last 15min sub at best. Hoping new boy shines with roofe or eukaba and we don't have to use lassoga at all. Way over rated.

Ausman1

1.) 09 Feb 2018 07:28:52
Perhaps Hecky will be able to get more out of him. I believe Lasogga could be a player if he starts to use his size to bully defenders a bit more - that's what i would be looking to coach into him. Roberts unlikely to start based on the press conference comments yesterday but could be on the bench. Hecky has been an admirer of Roberts so I daresay he has a few ideas of how he would like to play him which could be very tasty.

2.) 09 Feb 2018 07:39:23
He is Aus, maybe PH can get something out of him TC couldn't, afraid he's our 'best' option till Ekuban is fully fit.

3.) 10 Feb 2018 13:44:23
Good post as usual Aus. Your normal service has resumed.

4.) 10 Feb 2018 15:25:17
One of his better games today. Led the line well. Won a few headers for once, and held the ball up well. Great finish for our goal after great work from Pablo.

I'm from south and take offense to generalisations!
Millwall supporters are obviously delusional and soft. But not a whole south problem.
We don't want to start insulting eachother cause where we are born.

Ausman1

1.) 17 Sep 2018 12:28:05
You're right Aus. We should only insult on merit.

2.) 17 Sep 2018 12:41:33
Whose side are you on?

3.) 17 Sep 2018 13:09:04
Sorry Aus in the perfect world you are right. But its not so you are wrong. The south have always slagged northerners off so its not a one way thing. London is London, not sure you can call it south anymore, thinks its its own state.

4.) 17 Sep 2018 14:48:13
I'm also from diwn south, Sussex to be precise. I get the stigma from northerners to southerners and so on. But when I hear Us Leeds fans slag off southerners, I don't class myself In the same bracket. As I am Leeds through and through, even though I'm not from there.

5.) 17 Sep 2018 15:03:02
Equally, my first post on this site was after a holiday where a leeds fan from Leeds called me a southern winker when I was wearing my leeds top (In front of my 9 year old daughter) . I asked everyone then whether "northerners" (As you just phrased it) had a problem with people from the south. I was assured at the time that there was no prejudice. But comments on here seems to suggest there is a bigger problem than I thought? Shame, my mum was Leeds born and bred, but I was born elsewhere. Am I not worthy of the LUFC badge then?

6.) 17 Sep 2018 15:05:12
Oh I could give way better than I get chaps.
But above silly comments on birth place.
It should be on merit George. You are right.

7.) 17 Sep 2018 18:12:55
i have never found it to be honest and always welcome at leeds. some notherners/ leeds fans might be predudist but then same with all fans. Most annoying thing i get is you don't go to the game when i see most games on TV which is a far better way to judge a game due to replays and commentary over fans shouting.

football is treatorial butif you're leeds your leeds no matter where you live, you don't chose leeds leeds choses you.

8.) 17 Sep 2018 18:43:11
Stood with away Leeds fans a number of times apart from being told that I speak very posh I have never had any problems at all or at any time been questioned on being from down south .
If that was the case then really some people need to grow up, a Leeds fan is a fellow brother or sister in my book .

9.) 17 Sep 2018 20:23:15
Well said Bermo and Dogwise you posh twit😜.
I’m from West London and couldn’t care less what a northern or any other lad says about being a southerner.
MOT.

10.) 17 Sep 2018 21:20:03
Southern Softie just re read your post. I’d like to think that it was the Leeds so called supporter who called you a winker who in fact himself is a proper winker. It proves that no matter where you are from you can always be a winker!

11.) 17 Sep 2018 22:00:11
Right let's put this to bed. Tha might be from darn south and like a shandy or two on a weekend and still be int dark ages when it comes to putting summat moist on ya fish and derks like mushy peas or gravy (ooow I love gravy) but tat end of day your still leeds fans n that, ll ding dang do for me. Next time ya up at Mecca (elland road) I'll teach ya by taking ya tut peacocock for a man's drink ( no lemonade allowed) then over tut gravleys for fish n derks with mushys all over em. Is it date my southern muckers?

12.) 17 Sep 2018 22:37:17
Clearly any Leeds fan not born in Yorkshire is just a Yorkshireman trapped in another persons body - not your fault is it but clearly you have seen the error of your ways and returned to the (white) light so all is forgiven and I welcome you as a brother or sister. We forget that not everyone is lucky enough to be born here in Gods Own Country but all are welcome at the cathedral called Elland Road.

I forget my original point but anyway one for all and all for one etc etc.

I’m off to have a wink.

13.) 18 Sep 2018 00:03:16
Sounds good to me Martyn 👍. Thanks also for your reply corkie.

14.) 18 Sep 2018 01:16:24
Ooh I miss good fish and chips and yorkshire caviar.

15.) 18 Sep 2018 09:39:40
Ha ha ha great post Martyn tha knows, i'm a bit confused as i lived in Scarborough North Yorkshire most of me life, but I was born in Birmingham and now living darn sarf so guess i'm an adopted Yorkshireman! I still don't like getting a round in so that definitely makes me at least part yorkshire! 😃 MOT me fellow leeds brothers! 3-1 to the mighty whites tonight with Tyler to get a much needed goal 😎.

16.) 18 Sep 2018 10:30:29
Gee there are some gentle souls on here. North south rivalry hasbeen there for centuries. No one is saying we hate all southerners get a grip. I spent ten years of my life working down south from Sheerness, Gillingham, Battersea along to Yeovil, Kidderminster and Weymouth. I can guarantee you every pub i went in had some guy making a sarcastic comment or joke about northerners but after 8 or 9 pints it made no difference. I did not start a rally against southern prejudice in fact i left new friends in each town. I understand you guys are proud to be from the south but i am just as proud to be from the north. Leeds fans are welcome from anywhere we are happy you have seen the light. But come on there is always going to be rivalry but its not a personal thing.

17.) 18 Sep 2018 16:36:53
Well I’m from Southampton area. Always been a Leeds supporter since I knew what a football was, around 1970. I don’t drink at all. So I’m a proper southern softie. But I’m a very proud lufc fan and wouldn’t have it any other way.

11 Sep 2018 23:59:48
I'm not very good at jokes. A pre empt for abuse I suspect.
I have thoroughly enjoyed most of the jokes.
Every morning I have rolled my wife onto her back. For her morning treat. But she has chosen for me to tell her the overnight jokes rather than the big daddy gift. So if we can stop the jokes now so she hasn't a choice. That will be great.
One from a film
Penguin walks into a bar and says to the bartender. Have you seen my brother?
The bartender says. What's he look like?!

As far as football goes. What happened to Bamford?
Hope Roofe dosent relax cause of lack of pressure on the bench.
Think we got too much for Millwall anyway.
Thanks guys for update on u23s. Exciting times ahead I hope.

Ausman1

1.) 12 Sep 2018 07:36:47
Your right Aus but good attempt anyway 😁.

2.) 12 Sep 2018 08:15:57
What did he look like.

3.) 12 Sep 2018 09:39:06
Like a frog I think BIGE.

4.) 12 Sep 2018 10:46:56
Spoiler Martyn.

10 Sep 2018 11:45:34
How's this for luck.
Last kick of the last game of the whole season!
50-50 challenge with goalkeeeper.
13 yr old boy breaks his leg. Poor thing.

Ausman1

1.) 10 Sep 2018 12:24:10
Space (d) out. The final frontier. These are the continuing demented voyages of the starship Austerprise. His 5 year mission to explore strange new subjects to post, to seek out new topics of total irrelevance. to boldly go where no Down Under Leeds fan has ever gone before. 🎶🚀.

2.) 10 Sep 2018 12:53:38
More like Rimmer from Red Dwarf downloading random facts while eating diced curried wombat and fried roo pouch. Was Billy the fish in goal Aus.

3.) 10 Sep 2018 13:01:02
Should have put MY 13 yr old boy.

4.) 10 Sep 2018 13:46:02
A couple of really good responses, but now we have clarity, sorry to hear that Aus. How bad a break is it?

5.) 10 Sep 2018 19:48:33
Soz Aus. Hope its not too bad young ones heal quick.

01 Sep 2018 13:28:20
I think Bielsa decision to take up so much time up with substitutions says that he was worried about losing and their momentum.
Let's not kid ourselves.
We were not the better team.
A draw was fair but if there was a point system for performance. They would have edged it.
Team effort yes. We were brill.
But cooper. Ayling and Phillips below par.
I like Phillips. Think he is amazing and versatile but off sorts today.

Ausman1

1.) 01 Sep 2018 14:48:47
Aus don't know what game you were watching. We were up against a big physical team with the best defense and matched them in all areas.

2.) 01 Sep 2018 14:56:11
Don’t know what u were watching. They could of scored from every corner and cross. But didn’t because poor finishing.
How many did we miss?

3.) 01 Sep 2018 15:05:28
sorry wex I tend to agree with you but think aus is 100% right.

borough were the better team, they had the bigger better chances and our keeper played well, i don't think there keeper made a save of note.

MB was playing down the clock in my opinion and if there was going to be a winner I think it would of been them

however this is not doom and gloom, anyone who finsihes above borough will be champs, they are a great team

swans and borough brought draws but last season they would of brought defeats, can't win every game but getting points and doing well against big teams is playoff form at least, and think we all would of took playoffs before season started

just size of squad worries me.

4.) 01 Sep 2018 16:23:35
Think the point is is that they didn’t come and play football they came and stunk the place out with Pulis football, effective as it was it’s not pleasant to watch it was a contrast of styles of play, bitlike warnock football, i'd rather watch what we are playing like now, be interesting to see what it would be like at Middlesbrough, I thought we looked better to the eye personally.

5.) 01 Sep 2018 16:27:47
I'd have to say Clayton clearance off the line was the goal chance of the game.

6.) 01 Sep 2018 16:43:26
Really wex. U saw that as on the line says it all.
Thanks bw. I’m 56 yrs old and Leeds.
Lived in Rochdale for 10 yrs and hated the fact **** MU were blind. Always unlucky or hard done by.
I see it and call it as it is. Or as I see it.
No rosey glasses here.

7.) 01 Sep 2018 17:07:45
Was Clayton not on the line making the clearance as last man on the post.

8.) 01 Sep 2018 17:09:57
The commentator even said Clayton was disciplined staying on the near post after the cross had passed him he stays in position guarding the post.

9.) 01 Sep 2018 17:17:41
We were the better team with the ball in play. Technically the better team however not at our best. They were dangerous at set pieces which is to be expected but overall the team dealt well with them. Hernandez was a massive loss and could of made the difference as he would of gave them something more to worry about.

10.) 01 Sep 2018 17:22:03
The stats say leeds 62% possession with 11 shots 3 on target compared to boro 9 shots 3 on target and 38% possession.

11.) 01 Sep 2018 19:25:11
Wex, I think what Aus probably meant was that it was going wide anyway.
Which it was! 😋.

12.) 01 Sep 2018 19:52:09
its ok aus have to call it like i see it and i agree with your post.

we are better on the eye but both hasslebaink and the other fella said they put money on borough to go up not leeds. stats are rubbish sometimes, didn't one team win once with 15% possession (was in prem last season can't remember who) pulis like warnock don't play nice football but it is effective and i wouldn't bet agsinst them going up and last night think they were the more effective team

that said we have played great football all season and when needed (swans and last night) have grinded out results which pleases me more than nice football as that is what gets you up or at least in play offs.

do i think we will go up? i'm not sure. am i enjoying life and loving watching us play. hell yeah and that is what matters. prem is rubbish league anyway championship is more games so more chances to watch leeds win MOT.

13.) 01 Sep 2018 20:50:48
I'll say it, Leeds up as champions, unbeaten at home. Boro to maybe scrape the play-offs.

14.) 01 Sep 2018 22:36:59
Nice one AL, and hope you're right! Even more optimistic than me! 👍🏻🍻🍻🍻.

15.) 02 Sep 2018 10:00:56
Keith Andrews and the co commentator on the match overplayed the Middlesbrough defending and did not condemn their total lack of creativity with the ball. Only passing references. They came to stop us playing and played 5-4-1 from the outset. They must be the tallest team in the division! They played to disrupt. Did you notice anyone we were in danger of breaking the man with the ball got hacked down as with Ayala and Flint in the second half especially the latter when that ball was slipped through for Bamford. I would not pay to watch their football more than once a year.

16.) 02 Sep 2018 10:23:30
dont mind where we finish as long as season ain't over by xmas, i personally think borough will go up, brom will be there abouts

leeds, swans, brentford, fulham in playoffs (I know fulham are in prem but it is not a playoofs if fulham ain't in there)

28 Aug 2018 11:23:56
Not that I'm bothered much really but I'm going
4-0 tonight.

Ausman1

1.) 28 Aug 2018 12:22:15

2.) 28 Aug 2018 14:00:07
Back by popular demand.
Another night added.

3.) 28 Aug 2018 14:59:30
Go with 3-1 to us. Bamford 2 and Roberts.

Yeah. We need 3 points but I got a bad feeling about tonight. Thinking maybe even a loss.
I will be on plane to Hong Kong.
I trust in Bielsa. But not sure players have what it takes to keep on delivering with injuries and u23 game last night.
Hope so. Go on boys. 3 points please.

It’s ok beating wannabes with a weakened squad. We need to scratch out draws and wins against better teams.
I have faith in the b. But time will tell if we have the quality.
