Our inertia regarding bringing additional recruits confuses me. I understand that Radz may not have the finances any transfers or is asset stripping (take your pick) , however I am still confused on Bielsa stance on this. At the end of last season I believe Bielsa was quoted as stating that he would not be able to get the same performance levels from the current squad. The club and Bielsa spent time coming to an agreement for him to manage the club for another season. So what has changed on Bielsa's original point of view? I can see one of three scenarios. (1) Additional recruits will be brought in (2) Radz lied to Bielsa and Bielsa will eventually walk (3) The club negotiated a lucrative contract with Bielsa which has made him change his principles. Very confusing.

I think we are still actively looking for a replacement for Pontus. Other additions will depend on who becomes available from the loan list we still have.

Bielsa always has the potential to walk, I think at the moment he is getting what he wants. I think he is more likely to walk or get pushed if by Christmas it looks like we are well off the pace.

I think Bielsas comments about the repeating the performance with the same squad meant that he needed to get rid of people who didn’t believe in Bielsa 2. Pontus being an obvious example. Perhaps some of those released or not on the plane to Auz fall into the same category, we will see. Harrison clearly believes in Bielsa 2, Clarke 2, if Costa shows the desire we will be in a stronger attacking position. Like it or not I think Bielsa has identified White as an important player across the year.

I think Bielsa is pretty happy and I also think he wants to get promotion and believes he can do it. Let’s see.

Notts Once again, you are correct. What's equally confusing as I've posted below is getting rid of 4 defenders and replacing them with a loanee. We don't make sense right now and it's because Radz doesn't know the sport. Should be academic come Christmas because I expect new owners by then, the Qataris. However, getting Michael Hector in and we'd look solid at the back with some albeit inadequate cover. I don't mind Radz keeping his hand in his pocket when it comes to a proven goalscorer because they cost plenty but a quality central defender is a must. £6m investment gets you Hector or Cahill and in my opinion automatic promotion with it. Without, it's playoffs again. Maybe that's Radz true aim - not to go up for whatever commercial reason but to give the impression he's trying. We just don't make sense right now.

George why would the qataris wait.

Wex Because Radz may make them wait. Qataris are rich and powerful but if Radz ain't selling, he ain't selling. Takes time to wear down an opponent whom you're still trying to do business with. I personally believe a deal has been done or is close and what we're seeing right now is the respective houses getting their stuff in order preparing for the takeover. In the meantime, we endure this strangeness of illogical apprehension in the transfer market.

They could buy and fund any club they want.

Radz has always had a strange approach to the transfer market.

Wex True but it's not the issue. They can't just barge in with their millions. Radz has to be a willing seller. Radz ain't exactly a little fish either. Money talks but the Qataris won't want to pay over the odds.
