So sad to hear paddy has moved on. He is a leeds legend twice promoted and that first year in the prem was epic.
At times frustrating but always gave 100%
Another of bielsa team that probably exceeded his talent being coached the great man. Like kalvin he played out of his skin for 4-5 years.

Unfortunately being asked to play when not 100% fit and the effort bielsas style of play took its toll. He never really recovered his fitness. But he always gave his all and was always team first before self.

I know berm would say different but the influence of bielsa cannot be overstated. The fact kalvin and paddy both featured for England was nothing short of amazing.
I would say if we had never had bielsa at Elland Road then the championship in my opinion would be as far as both would have gotten.

Patrick was capable of scoring great goals. The one at Portsmouth comes to mind and the ones at villa in our season back in the prem.
Good luck bam bam I hope you continue to frustrate and delight more football fans in the future.

Great post Ben RE, paddy, kalvin and Bielsa. And I think Luke got called up along with them at that time. Team spirit isn’t something money can buy unfortunately.

No o fully agree about Belisa, as a coach he is second to none and got players like paddy, klich and Dallas playing well above there stations (Phillips was always awful just most couldn’t see it)

My problem was never with Belisa the coach is was with Belisa the march day manager, the man who had no plan b, put square pegs in round holes, couldn’t change or influence a game and subs were awful. Let’s now forget the man who loved Tyler Roberts

After bilsea first season in charge I said sack him and bring in a proper manager like farke and it would seem I was correct like my prediction of kps career

I got a lot of stick for it at the time and very little to no credit after being proven pretty much bang on

But I’d never take away from Belisa the coach a truly great man but Belisa the match day manager as bad as I’ve ever seen.
