Really getting worried about lack of goal scoring strikers. DCL is not prolific. Piroe is not good enough. None of our others combined will not score enough for safety. Minimum of 2 PL quality strikers plus 2 midfielders plus centre back 1 fullback plus back up goalie still needed please?

Not a hope in hell of seven more players this window! 3/4 more incoming at best, I would think.

Have we sold a striker that I'm not aware of? Same strikers had enough goals in them last season to keep us up. Bit of an unfair assessment.

I also think adding Wilson will give us a few extra too.

I agree, Days. Wilson means better set pieces, and 6 ft plus Stach is in the box for corners rather than taking them.

They did an adequate job last season, but we want to improve, so need more goals and wins next season. Have our strikers got that in them? Me and a few others, plus the club, doubt that; otherwise, they wouldn't be looking for a striker, would they?
Agree with that, Ani. Good to have Stach in the box more. He will def bag more next season.

Lad, we had a striker, Piroe, who might as well not have been in the squad. Farke doesn't rate him at this level, it seems, so he hardly ever played.

And if DCL got injured, then what?

We got very lucky for a change last season, with very few injuries.



LUFC definitely need to recruit another striker this window to replace the nil goals unused Piroe striker in the pecking order in the squad. You know it too!

I wasn't arguing whether we need a striker. Merely pointing out the fact our strikers kept us in the league last year, so the statements you and Coxy made are incorrect.
