We never learn, press, press, press, then caught on the counter. Game was there for the taking absolutely bossed them start to finish, but likes of Sinisterra, klich, rocca Geldhardt must be seething when they think we're in with a sniff of 3 points when we can't defend, Llorente an absolute shocker. think I could pick many centre halves out of league one or two that would be better. Cooper back for me, Strijk starting to look an accomplished player. I'm bloody mad.

Feath — Rasmus will improve, but Ayling is now fit, and actually Drameh wasn’t so bad on that side today either. Koch is a good defender, Firpo may have a better season if he stays fit. Struijk is also decent. Llorente is a real concern, and it seems almost certain he’ll drop out for Coops next game.

The tactics need to be tweaked to ensure we have more cover at the back so we’re not caught out so easily by a simple long ball over our counterpress when we lose the ball in or around the opposition box. With Llorente taken out of the lineup and that simple tweak, the rest of the defenders will probably be up to the job. Simple fact is that Tarkowski and Mee would be every bit as exposed within our current setup, and they’re both slower than Llorente and Koch, and neither of them are error free either.

I'm with you on that Bazza, it's not the system of our high press that's the problem its the lack of pace and ability of our defenders to complement the high press, I feel if we could address that it'd work more consistently you need pace at the back to nullify the quick counters in the PL.
