Leeds look to have accomplished first season objective of staying up.

What will be their objective for 2nd season?

There are issues that need dealing with successfully for a good 2nd season

1.Bielsa' s contract renewal ( I am sure he will stay)

2.Squad quality and depth ( It severely lacks depth especiallly with injuries as can be seen by the vast majority of the bench being U23 players) . For me at least 6 first team players need to be added to the squad.

3.Player recruitment positions required CDM, CM, LB, a proven goalscorer to rival Bambam, CAM, a back up gk

( Right now any injury to Meslier, Bamford, KP, Raphinia we have no one of anywhere near the same quality to replace them)

4.The pitch ( in the summer the club must get it 100% perfect / right when relaying it : a perfect new pitch)

5.NO sale of Raphinia not even if £100 million offered this summer : we need him in season 2 very much: would wait until summer of 2022 before even thinking of it.

Why on earth would we sell Raphinha for a profit however large. Its a tough game signing players that good. Sell the success story and you are left with the disappointing ones who you can't offload. With a vast profit you would be held to ransom and have to gamble for replacements. His current form is for sure down to him being here, either our style of play suiting, or us improving him. Couldn't have been this good at Rennes or we would never have got him for that price. I'm assuming/ hoping the story is all paper talk.

They say, everybody is for sale, if the price is right, but I hope we make a lie out of that (like Brighton did) and even more, add to the squad. Taking advantage of the dire financial position of many clubs all over the world.

Baz Objective for 2nd season back shall be CL or Europa qualification. You omitted following important issues also.

6. Acquisition of Harrison on permanent basis.

7. Drawing up ER especially West Stand redevelopment plans and submitting them to the world's best city council for approval.

8. Selling or offloading of right players to offload. Roberts, Costa, Forshaw, Casilla top of my list.

First objective will be to stay up again. Good 1st season doesn't always make a good 2nd season - look at Sheff U.

Plus, were not safe yet.

Agreed Alf first objective will be to stay up again which is why it is so imperative that:
1) We keep our best players such as Raphinia AND equally importantly
2) Orta and co need to stop signing sicknote players with history of injuries e.g Llorente, Rodrigo, Forshaw, Roberts, Koch.
