Tbh, he feels like an albatross contract now to me. Major injuries last term, wrong age for a pace merchant. If they offer £5m-7m and take his wages I'd call it a good deal.

Maybe eat a bit of his contract, but add a clause that, if they get promoted, they cover the entirety of the outstanding contract.

I read that Norwich are going for it this season, so I wouldn't be surprised if they bid 8-10 million for DJ even though they splashed out 8 million on the Sheffield Utd player.

He feels like a marquee signing for Birmingham or more obviously Wrexham to me than Norwich, but who knows.
