Listening to Farke interview, he comes across as very committed to Leeds, very articulate, we need to back him in the transfer market, shift players out and push on next year.

I think he's a class act. As last year, he's taking a lot of responsibility on his shoulders for the club. He deserves backing.

It's good that he gets this message out of what he envisages for the future of our club.
There's no detail to his thoughts, but he's letting the fans and the football media know that he wants to continue and push the club forward with a very clear directive and a plan of how the 49ers and he can advance with positivity.

This is not a message to the 49ers, I'm pretty sure they are both equally ambitious and are aligned in their visions.

This is a message to us that he is the coach to take us forward, and that this survival season is not the final limit to his ambitions and capabilities.

He is a very smart man, a thinker, I'm very impressed by the way he operates.

I expect a busy summer.

It absolutely is a message to the owners. He said his job here is done. He is ambitious and wants a new challenge, be it with Leeds or someone else. Don't see how the fans can affect his future. The owners can. It's a clear message. Back me or I'm off.

This tends to suggest that he wasn't impressed with the supposed first meeting about the way forward.
It will be interesting to see how much dosh will be put forward. Who we will sell and who we won't.
It's not like Farke at all to discuss such matters, so def upset.

He won't leave with a year left on his contract unless someone else comes in for him.

I tend to read between the lines in these outspoken interviews. I would find it almost inconceivable that the most important man at Leeds United is unable to have a private conversation about himself and plans for the proceeding season with the owners of the club.
For me he's using his leverage to get everyone on his side and have no one doubting about his future at the club, like at the end of the last season where he was, in my opinion, disgracefully let out to hang dry by many supporters of the club, especially after winning the title and gaining promotion to the Premiership.

He's just giving himself a much stronger position, which, as I said before, is a very smart thing to do because this time round fans don't want him to leave!

Yeah Opti. But he ain't that good, mate.
Boots too big and all.
Careful what you wish for, etc.
Believe me. If owners keep him, they should back him 100%.
But he ain't that good, and thus far they are still learning. Some call that Leedsy.
I like honesty and transparency.
Seems we have none of that.

Aus stop talking kangaroo rubbish!
Go bore another site to death you've been doing it long enough on here!
Farke ain't good enough bollocks.he's kept us up what more do you want!
Get yourself to church & see how many fans are calling for his head!

Well, on the face of it, Aus, he's done better and is better than most of the candidates folks were screaming for. I seem to remember a few saying we would be 100% relegated if we didn't get Nuno, Potter, Dyche amongst others when they became available (sacked for not doing very well) .

Given the resources at his disposal, he's done brilliantly. We've lost one away game since November, and we were unlucky to lose that one. Aside from Arsenal, we been every game in 2026.
