Indeed, Brighty, we have come a long way from the darkness of our demise and the very long period away from top-flight football.

Sadly, I can't even look at our previous promotion, with Marcelo and Radrizziani's tenure, as something that looked like it was sustainable. Our recruitment was dire with the exception of one or two decent players.

However, now it has a very different picture.

It definitely, to me, looks like it has the foundations for a promising future in the Premiership.

Some might not feel so convinced, and would rather see us spending more than we've got to buy flash Harry players, and expect fantastic results aligned with playing football like PSG or Bayern Munich.

Sorry, but this is not where we are, but where we are is undeniably on our way back.

Err, OP, a bit unfair of you saying PR Radz and Uncle Victor only signed one or two "decent" players.

Raphinha, for starters, is by far and away the most gifted player Leeds United have had in the past 20-plus years, and one of the best and most consistently dazzling in Europe over the past 6 years, in my opinion.



And, not forgetting, my other faves Jack Harrison, Dan James and Rodrigoal, who were/are more than decent.

As I said, Baz, one or two. That would be Raphinha and possibly Rodrigo, but definitely not Harrison or James, but that's yer lot.

Decent means acceptable.

Whereas.

Raphina arguably world class for Barca and exceptional for Leeds in EPL.

Rodrigoal very good for Leeds in EPL.

Harrison very good for Leeds in EPL.

No need for dictionaries, Baz, it's simple. Raphinha was the only "decent" signing during this very anti climax and very disappointing period.
You can dress it up if you want with Jackie & Danny, good Championship players, but they never cut it in the Premiership.
