Adams move to Chelsea breaks down he now returning to leeds. Wonder if he is fit as Chelsea were looking at him to start for them if he signed, suppose he's injured now again for leeds.

He must've desired a loan relegation release clause and scared them away ???.

Apparently it’s the discussion between the clubs that broke down, despite the relegation release clause having been met! Marathe and Co clearly not going to be bullied by anyone, but do wonder exactly what has gone on in discussions? Perhaps we wanted one of their players, and offered a reduction in Adams’ fee? No idea, but it would be interesting to find out!

Brighty What's there to discuss and what's to break down between the clubs if the fee is agreed (because the relegation release clause amount was met) ?

That’s my point George. The reports state that it was a breakdown in discussions between the clubs, NOT a medical issue! Try reading what’s written, eh?

George probably the structure of payment. Leeds wanted cash up front?

I think they went off him due to them signing the lad from Brighton. I think he was always a backup option.

Brighty You own any cells? What's there to discuss? What's to break down? ???.

Cork Agreed but there's my point. These clauses seek up front complete payment. If purchasing club unwilling preferring instalments then the clause was never met in first place.

Exactly Corky! And Marathe isn’t going to settle for structured payments. A release clause, once met, is still going to have its payment terms negotiated!

That was my thought Corky, if release clause says 20 million but no specifics can we insist on all being paid immediately?
I like our style if we are doing that. If chelsea don't won't to pay up front maybe we can agree on installments but adding up to 25-30.

Tyler deal to Chelsea off only due to hamstring injury reported today.

Creating your own narrative as well as liking yer own posts now George?
Discussions broke down over payment terms. Tyler didn’t even start a medical.
No legitimate reports anywhere suggesting otherwise. Have a sherry. Again.

That case the clause was never activated because it is known a loan relegation release clause contains expressly the need for payment in full up front without instalments. No creation of narrative.

Talking twoddle now George. Try to retain some integrity, eh?
Not a loan. A purchase. But you said he failed a medical for a hamstring issue.
A medical that never happened, and a hamstring issue that only exists in the world of your sherry glass. Simmer down.
