I still think Radz left us in a better position than he found us. We own the ground, we own TA; the value in those 2 aspects alone make the 49ers initial investments sound ones.
He has, however, paid for his ineptness and naïveté and blind faith in Orta, and paid heavily in his own pocket, which is only right. TBF, he has taken it on the chin, and accepted his mistakes. Fair play.
The slow start under the 9ers has surprised me a bit, but clearly, there has been a lot of rot left to be treated. I'm sure they will take us forward in the right way, sustainably, and deliver the success we all crave.

Couldn’t agree more Bright, however grim it may look at the moment we are definitely more stable than the the last time we were relegated from the Premiership.
Got to give the owners and Farke the time to sort all this current mess we are in. They have only just recently walked in the door.
A bit patience is required and if you don’t have any then take drugs or drinks lots of alcohol.

Long term reader/ viewer of this site, not many posts but felt this is such a reasoned and sensible post, given the current situation, I had to post and agree. Heard and read a lot of things posted/ expressed on radio phone ins which would lead you to believe the Mighty Whites are about to disappear as a club. Leeds have been the one and only team/ club I have followed (now into my sixth decade) , we will come back stronger and the mercenaries who joined will be found out and moved on. Impressed by Farke's statement 'if you don't want to play for Leeds don't come into the dressing room and train on your own', it will flush them out so to speak.

In the immortal words of the Python's 'Keep on looking on the Bright side of life' and remember the future is bright the future is white.

All well and good looking on the bright side but let’s not forget the current owners are partially to blame for all this turmoil. Who says they can do better. Why would anybody think that businessmen who make such monumental **** ups will learn and change. They have show their decision making ability and it ain’t the future is bright.
And I keep banging this drum. Honest maybe but is farke able. hasn't shown any ability to me yet. Far too early.

All hail Radz (and Orta) . NOT

When Radz took over we already had a team capable of a promotion push having finished 7th under Gary Monk

Radz and co then proceeded to mess the next season up with garbage appointments of TC and PH and finish 15th .

The Bielsa appointment was a very good decision but even with Bielsa, Leeds United would NOT have been promoted but for the outstanding season by Pablo ( who was notably not a Radz, Orta nor Bielsa acquisition )

Having signed mostly dross in. the Radz and Orta era that LUFC team last season was soooo bad it for sure would have got beat by the Gary Monk team. so imo NO PROGRESS at all, the club is arguably NO BETTER arguably worse than when Radz first arrived certainly worse in squad strength.

Furthermore we are now annoyingly seen. as a very soft touch, a laughing stock to numerous other clubs, their supporters, thr media and appear to be in considerable turmoil and toxic within the club.

None of this turmoil and toxicity existed before Radz took over.

We are very far from having a team that is. anywhere near good enough to get promoted.

So anyone purporting to. suggest that those sheisters Radz and Orta have done a good job, even a half decent job. by May 2023 . give yer heads a big ole shake

Bielsa and Pablo legacy of May 2000 destroyed by Radz and Orta in just 3 seasons, could easily have been. just 2 seasons as really lucky to escape R in May 2022. (Zilch lessons learnt)

Good post Cornish. Relative newcomer (but multi decade supporter) myself.

Lots of people venting their anger, frustration and despair at the moment, which is hardly surprising given what has happened to us over the past couple of years - the promised land of the Premiership turned into a nightmare that is still unraveling!

However, as you and the other guys have said, let’s keep the faith and things will turn around - not over night unfortunately but they will and we will be back where we belong:) ) )

Thanks Cornish, and kind of welcome back! Post more often pal. The more the merrier, or sadder, or bleaker……. whatever the results say, anyway!

But Baz, are we not a more sustainable business proposition than we were before? Are we not more stable financially? Are we, as a club, now the owners of our own future, rather than facing the threat of ER and TA being sold from underneath us? Yeah, some right duff stuff is going on, but we are still in a better position than we were.

Good post Brighty, Baz, I love Pablo but I think you wear the rose tinted glasses when he assess his contribution! A team effort and I’ve seen lots of nights where Pablo’s magic didn’t come off! He went to a Spanish third division side and couldn’t set them alight by the time he left! And Baz, you have a view on Radz and Orta that has never changed, others are allowed an opinion as well!

My experience of life is most things are never as black or white as those on the extremes like to paint them! Where I agree with Auz is that at the moment it suits the new board to distance themselves from the decisions of the old board as much as they can. Easier to let them take the blame for any decision made however wide the consultation and however strong their influence might have been!
