Just seen on ssn that chris eagles has been released from Bolton, think he's worth taking to pre season to have a look at him. He could be a good addition.
1.) Id ask why have bolton released him if they don't fancy why should we

It's been a while since I have posted on here but would just like to say after watching summer target wolves defender Stearman he looks like a solid defender with speed and no nonsense defending just what we need. Him and Pearce and the back would be great with lees as back up.
Hopefully players to leave will be Pugh, green, Norris, brown, ashdown, kenny, peltier, zaliukas, Tonge, hunt, diouf, Kebe, stewart, Morrison, wooton
Players to keep and who could do a job I think lees, Pearce, warnock, McCormack, smith, poleon, murphy, Austin, mowatt, Dawson, byram, white.
What does everyone think?
1.) Austin? Not a chance!
2.) I'd like to think we could get better players than Hunt but I think he's a better team player than he gets credit for on here. Also, isn't he on a longish contract? If so I suspect he's going nowhere.
Stewart's contracted until 2017 so nothing happening there. Also, he's young and might improve.
Tonge is useful, as is Pugh but I think they're out of contract along with Brown so I can't seem them being retained. I'd like to think we could do better but they're all useful squad players at this level.
White is a headless chicken. We desperately need pace but it's so much better when it comes with a brain attached. Ditto Poleon although maybe he's young enough to improve.
Lees looked so promising and deserved his U21 call up but he's been very poor this season. He's cost us a lot of goals and as for his constant hoofed long balls. Not sure.
Austin? Are you serious? He is the worst passer of the ball in the team (and that's a hard thing to achieve in a team this bad). Wins it spectacularly then just gives it back 80% of the time. Waste of a shirt.

He gets the credit he deserves, NONE?
Exactly what has he done for the thousands of pounds Leeds have paid him?
No goals, No assists?
How can you justify this statement?
The sooner he's gone the better, even if we have to pay off his contract?
Bought in by BMD in return for an invite to his wedding, and been living off it ever since.

Well said last post he's a thug. I wasn't comparing a footballer to a serviceman/woman. Obliviously you have no idea anelis how insulting that is to a member of the forces and the majority of the British public.
He is the first player to do that in the premier league enough said.
Sorry lads but I agree with murron.
As a member of the armed forces I would never want to see McLean at the club. No matter what religion or beliefs it's a matter of insult. All players should wear it. Muslim players do, I think McLean is an person and couldn't careless how good he is. I have had to do a lot of things in Afghanistan that I didn't like doing with to regards adapting to the culture of the afghans, but I did them because everything was about hearts and minds. Remembrance Day should be a day where we forgive and remember ALL that have died IRA, UK soldiers whoever they may be.
He showed little respect to our family and friends who risked EVERYTHING for what we are today.
But in a nutshell if he is signed I will not be coming down anymore. Got no time for silly little children like James McLean.
