Torino have agreed a loan for Perri for the coming season with option to buy. It won't go ahead until we sign a replacement. If we take too long over it then Torino will look elsewhere, but as things stand we need 2 GK incomings.

Jeez, a transfer fee £16 million plus large salary contract wasted by our recruitment dept on Perri.

..A woeful, to at best, mediocre gk signing..

And yet, we have the exact same peeps now recruiting 2 more gks.

If Perri is going with an option to buy, it's an absolute shambles and could take a large slice out of our transfer budget if we need two new keepers. It should be an obligation to buy, at least.
I'd rather keep Perri as number 2 and bring in one new recruit as our main keeper.

Yep. Helluva balls up by recruitment. In the most important position. One step forwards, two steps back, and now being caught cold on Darlow having to spend big on keeper when we shouldn't have. Yippee Kay yah. Roaming roaming. ?

Poor on behalf of Leeds re Darlow. I bet they thought he wouldn't go!
Chanced their arm and Darlow took a big payday (can't blame him) . Unless you are a Leeds fan, you probably don't get the rivalry! He could be in for stick in Dublin!

Baz, Largie is probably the exception. I've made several posts where I've said that we should keep him in the squad, even if it's to give us something different and bring him on later in the game. The rest have regressed.

We tried to keep Darlow and would have preferred him to stay, but wouldn't/couldn't match the offers from Man Utd or Everton.
