At the end of the day we can only upgrade a bit at a time. Think it was clear to most that we only had 3 to 5 prem standard. And we buy a striker we will have upgraded 4 positions which is a start.

From there we unload a few this window and add couple fillers and that's all we can expect. Survive and build again.

I think all three signings made so far are immediate starting 11 upgrades. That won't be the case for the next three or four. We'll be lucky if one of them is.

That's no bad thing. If we can get Perri, Gelhardt, Piroe and Ramazani out for a bit of a fee or wage relief and put that to a striker who raises the floor from Piroe and a reliable backup keeper, happy days.



Then we need to invest in a backup or rotation left back. Maybe find a loan winger (Bardhgji) or 10 (Echeverri) ? Or a loanee with option or performance triggered obligation.

I do hope that they keep Lienou, Mills, Chadwick etc. in and around the first team this season.

Not sure about 3 - 5 prem standard. Aus, Rodon, Bijol, Gabby, Bornauw, Boges, Amps, Stach, Longstaff, DCL, Okafor all deffo prem class.

We're still in the PL, which probs means we have quite a few PL standard players, no? Some lower end tho, but PL nonetheless.

Bardhgji injured in training. Suspected ACL.
Still lots of talk about Bornauw going to Hamburg. Can't see this happening, unless we have someone like Elvedi to fill the gap. Bornauw may want more game time, but we need squad depth even more.

Consolidation this season. If we manage to improve on last season's position, then I'll be pleased. With the majority of the squad remaining and the quality upgrades, we should be capable of that.

Be nice to finish around 11/12 this year and build again next summer.
I like the look of our team, but we lack good squad depth at present. Pre-season so far has been pleasing.
See how we get on Wednesday, but again it's a free hit, not reading into it.



I still think it's mad partying, 60000 go all day boozing, then steel together to a "friendly".

For the love of the club, please can all Leeds fans not embarrass the club, and just enjoy the craic and a game of football.

Just to add that Wilson and Trafford are Prem class, imo.
And I think that Tarek Mmmmovvvehic (cant spell his name, but you know who I mean) will do ok, me thinks.
