Newcastle up next, just hope Voldemort Barnes doesn’t turn up.

Noticed our balls in the final third was significantly lower than Brighton on Saturday at 97-40 but not surprising as the away team, although this was very similar in scale to when we played Brentford at home it's having that technical skill set at the pointy end of the pitch.

I’m sure DF is hoping Wilson will make a real difference in this area, and is still figuring out how best to fit him into our system.

Also excited to see Bard play not only to push Gabby on, but also to hopefully improve our defensive capabilities down the left hand side when Gabby has struggled with losing his man at times, although he’s great going forward.

And finally looking forward to seeing JMB (Thanks Melbourne) our new French meep meep machine.

Reasons to be cheerful part three.

Yep. Next up for Leeds United in the EPL: two home matches, Newcastle and Palace, before a three-week international break.

Some Leeds fans might be a tad concerned that Leeds have not yet managed to score more than one goal in an EPL game this season.

Clean sheets are a must, something we have only done once so far, if you can't score 2 in a match.

Hoping and predicting Leeds 1 vs Newcastle 0, and same again, Leeds 1 vs Palace 0.

We also have Chelsea in Cup on Wednesday.

I want to see Wilson and JMB start.. Come on Farke!

I believe Voltemade has gone on loan to Juve but Harvey Barnes has always been a nuisance to Leeds.

Yep, we always lack that killer ball in the final third with consistency. Although Wilson has not clicked yet, hopefully he does at some point, and DCL can thrive with the service.
Bohoya, I think, will need some time before he adapts to the Premiership. He's still quite young and will need careful coaching.

On Gabby, he himself admitted after the game that he's not up to top fitness yet after recovering from two hamstring injuries.
I don't think it will be long before he's back to his better self.

It will be a tough game against Newcastle, with one goal winning it. Fingers crossed that it's us that collect the three points.

Let's get another monkey off our back, stop Barnes scoring and get the three points.

Nice to have options for cup games and they look strong alternatives. I think BJ and Bard will come into defense.
Like to see Wilson start and hopefully find his feet, sure he'll be fantastic for us.
Like above comments, hope to get a look at JMB, see this speed we’ve heard about, hope he has end product too, but may take time to get up to speed.

?
Then a tough Toon test, feeling confident though, which is a nice change.

Yes MW.want to see our new LB start at Chelsea too.

Indeed LUFCFeath ; strictly no Harvey Barnes goals ever again vs Leeds Utd

That HB 15th minute of injury time last seez for Saudi Barcodes was beyond the pale.

OP ; I think Class was referring HB to the villainous antagonist character Lord Voldemort

I want to see Zetterer, Bard, Wilson, and JMB start.

The Car-Toon army themselves have had a lot of change in the window, so will have plenty of players getting up to speed. We need to be positive for a change and go for the throat and grab the 3 Pts.

Indeed, Baz, I read Class's post a little too quickly there and missed that.

Barnes is Voldemort, even looks like him, especially when he scores a goal against us.

I don't think we'll lose this game, but I don't want us to draw it either.

As for Chelsea midweek in the League Cup, I don't think they'll rest many players with their deep, talented squad and no European football, but we probably will, just hoping for a hard fought contest is all what I want to see.

OP, don't fret if it's a draw..

It's straight to pens, no extra time.. and a chance for one of our goalies to be a hero and say, Karl who?. ?

I always 120% desire Leeds United to beat Chelsea whatever the competition.. so come on Leeds United lads.
