Seems like rumors strong on BJ (bijol) from udinese, has anyone seen him play?
Spurs new boss may scupper Soloman deal now, be a miss.
I still think Mavididi be decent, pace and runs at defenses.
Pity about having to wait till July but seems to be the case, just hate been late.
Imo i think i'd try for mcatee from city, think he'd be better than beundia/ hamer? but Leverkusen looking at him now and may be wrapped up next week.
Guess 69ers have it all in hand and be influx in early July.
1.) 15 Jun 2025 22:40:51
Good in the air in both boxes. awareness and reading of game excellent.
19 May 2025 10:58:21
What thoughts on Rico Henry from ?, only 27y/ o and now only sub appearances for them.
1.) 19 May 2025 11:41:30
Not for me he has a big injury record other than that I haven't seen him play.
2.) 19 May 2025 13:44:02
So you’ve seen him played injured bri but not fit?
3.) 19 May 2025 14:59:04
Lol yeah that's right Aus should check before I post.
28 Jun 2021 00:52:21
The Leeds board don't like to do things fast. No resolution to the long running alioski saga, let him just go already, we need better LB option than him.
They even taking forever signing 2 big assets that have been at the club for 3 years in Harrison/ beilsa, get it done.
Hoping lots of behind scenes work going on and then the 3-4 players we need signed up fast.
1.) 28 Jun 2021 07:02:20
The window isn’t even open yet mate and Gianni is only just back from euros, patience!
2.) 28 Jun 2021 09:49:14
They quoted all transfers would like to be done before end of June so they get a full pre season.
3.) 28 Jun 2021 11:23:11
Lufc 4, window been open since 9th June, 3 weeks already but should be patient.
Thought they’d have sorted beilsa contract and Harrison buy as no brainers.
4.) 28 Jun 2021 11:33:55
Harrison done for 1st of July, also, a YEP reporter has stated that no signings will be made by the start of pre season.
07 Nov 2020 22:54:39
Conceding a few recently and think break is needed, hope can get a few back into squad.
Was Pablo dropped from squad because of his attitude last game when taken off?
Not many positives today, big one is we are in the premiership and that is amazing, 2nd is bamford finishing improving and the offside tough to take, pointing where he wanted pass.
Negatives, keeper getting beat at near post, costa and Dallas poor.
Also feel struik not a DMF, he was pedestrian today, sorry berm but you are wrong, we much better with Phillips and I think u know it. Is he the best defensive MF, no, but better with than without or until we find a better one, should have kept veira, big mistake. Let's hope Phillips back after break and be good to see Lorente play alongside of Koch.
1.) 09 Nov 2020 22:30:23
Meltdown How can the sale of RV be a mistake when we 1. Achieved promotion without him. 2. His absence helped see the rise of KP. 3. He's reportedly available for transfer again at only a 30% increase in price than the amount we sold him for. I like RV as a player but remarking his sale was a mistake just factually incorrect.
2.) 14 Nov 2020 06:51:24
we needed the money at the time and had we not sold we would have had to sell other players and who knows what impact that would have had on the team that went up. Same with Kemar by all accounts.
15 Feb 2020 07:41:04
Every game now going to feel tense, can't afford slip ups now.
Tough one for brom against Forrest, do we want brom to win and keep teams below at bay or can we still catch them for first.
My feeling is Forrest to beat them but we have to win next 2 at home.
Bristol invested well in window, unlike us!
They have some decent players, eliason, diedhiou, wells and have won 5 out of last 6
Going to plump for 2-0, bamford and klich.

Players to go for me are
Mes, Perri, Wober, JH, James, Gnonto, BA, Nmecha, Bournaw
Would also sell Struijk, don’t rate him, slow and out of position a lot, has pros that he’s left footer and can score from corners but not a great defender and would prefer another couple CBs in, maybe Diasi, Mav or what about Ake, experience and can play Cb or Lb.
I’d keep Darlow but bring in another GK to challenge, maybe Areola or Jose Sa. Think Trafford too expensive.
Will need a couple-3 wide men, can we get Wilson? I’d go for Summerville with swap for James and Piroe?
Tyreck George from Toffees looks good and 22yo.
I would keep out MF enforcers (Amps, Tank, Stach, Gruev, Longstaff) and then don’t need defensive midfielder, we need CMF, my pick be Macatee or Mane.
Finally need couple forwards, try for Jon Duran.
If we can offload above, those funds plus 100 mil investment would be huge.
1.) 26 May 2026 10:00:45
Agree with most of that, Mel, but would think of losing Gruev and Longstaff and put the money towards a young quality (ball playing) enforcer.
2.) 26 May 2026 10:09:52
Not sure about McAttee, and the Forest fans are divided. "There's probably a player there somewhere, but doesn't show it often enough."
3.) 26 May 2026 10:46:00
Wouldn't take Duran, clearly has talent but also issues hence so many moves at such a young age.
Mcatee again a no for me, not good enough or physical enough.
Mane yes I'd take him looks a good prospect.
I'd fully expect Piroe to leave and wouldn't be shocked to see Nmecha sold for "ffp"
Need 2 strikers, I'd go sign 1 and loan with option for a second.
Demirovic & either David or Openda.
Don't rate Harry wilson other than a squad player. I'd much rather have Harvey Elliot.
IMO we also need
Keeper
Left back (cover)
Centre back x 1-2
ATM/Wingers x 2-3 (depends on departures)
Striker x 1-2 ( depends on departures)
I'd sell
Perri £15
Bornauw £6m
James £15m
Gnonto £15m
Ramazani £10m
Piroe £10m
Gruev £5m
Nmecha £10-15m
Wober £3m
Schmidt £3m
Joseph £5m
Circa £90-100 + £100m rumoured budget
ATM/wingers
Mane, Elliot, Wilson & Okafor, Aaronsun, Paixao?
STRIKERS,
DCL, Demirovic, Openda/ J David/ P David
MIDFIELDERS.
Ampadu, Stach, Tanaka, Longstaff, Mane, Hackney?
DEFENCE.
Struijk, Rodon, Bijol, Dhoeki, Gabby +1, Bogle, Justin.
KEEPERS.
Darlow, +2
Squad fillers from academy
4.) 26 May 2026 11:47:50
Hmm.
From lists above, peeps on here are suggesting we sell 12 players and replace them with 12 players.
Woah, that's a very busy, unlikely window.
5.) 26 May 2026 13:03:15
Wober and Schmidt will go on frees, maybe a token fee for Schmidt.
I'd be hoping for double that amount for Gruev.
The only way we get 15 mill for James is if a newly promoted club wants him.
6.) 26 May 2026 23:24:39
Don't forget Gnonto is understood to have a very high sell on percentage, so we're not actually going to see all that much of any fee.
7.) 27 May 2026 02:03:04
I'd not sell as many as some above are suggesting. We certainly do need reinforcements in a number of positions, but in my view most need to be in addition to our current squad rather than instead of.
With that in mind, I'd keep at least some of the following:
Perri, Bornauw, Gruev, Gnonto, James, Nmecha.
James has 3 years left on his £3.9M pa contract, so the chances of another club topping that are slim.
Joseph has a long recovery ahead from a ruptured ACL, so is not leaving anytime soon. Wober and Schmidt, we won't get diddly squat for. JH would accept any offer just to get him off our books.
I'd be looking to sign:
GK - ??
Backup LWB - Robertson or Krejci.
CB - Dhoeki or maybe Ake.
AM - Elliott or Wilson, or both.
Striker (s) - Openda, Demirovic, Castellanos.
24 May 2026 22:50:51
It’s over and fantastic achievement to get 14th but glad we were safe a few games ago, was getting to bare bones with squad and showed today.
Very underwhelming performance and disappointing to get beat like that, put it down to end of season, being safe and injuries.
Time to build now, think with newly promoted teams, think they look weak and also feel Sunderland, Palace and a couple of other teams will struggle next season and up to 69ers to invest and sell a few.
I have nothing against BA, but he is s****, he was thru in first min and turned back instead of going towards goal, he can’t shoot, can’t take a free kick, can’t link play and falls over constantly, has to go imo?
Also sell Struijk, slow and out of position lots, cash in on him and upgrade, think Rodon and BJ very good, possibly bring in Diasi or Mavropanos.
Would definitely try swap deal with cash for Summerville, James and possibly Piroe.
Need a couple of forwards, wingers and CMF too, big summer ahead.
1.) 25 May 2026 09:08:40
We ain't going anywhere next Seez with Baracus still a starter, apart from 4-5 games this Seez where he was ok (in comparison to his norm) hes just not good enough.
And to read some people here felt he was 1 of our most improved, is worrying.
Can't see an offer coming for him so hopefully we just move him onto bench, because we really do need to take a scalpel to the team sheet if we want to stay in Prem.
2.) 25 May 2026 10:42:48
He's a handy squad player, if no one picks him up. Lots of ex pros also highlight his improvement and contribution.
3.) 25 May 2026 11:03:21
Spot on, CC.
I'm just hoping an Austrian club or similar offer ten million or thereabouts.
I really can't stand him as a player. His constant losing possession and falling over drive me mad. His dribbling away from the opponent's box drives me mad.
He had one good game this season, at Newcastle, and even spoiled that at the end by giving away a penalty.
4.) 25 May 2026 12:02:10
After yesterday's very limp, pathetic display vs West Ham, reminding one just how bad Leeds United can be.
Plus.
The very thought of Farke picking BA every match next.
Makes one wonder if maybe replacement of Farke this summer remains a wiser option, especially if owners were able to obtain upgrade on Farke this summer.
Owners are probably very unlikely to do so, though.
So Farke it is for now as Leeds United coach.
5.) 25 May 2026 12:09:18
Lots of ex pros have City winning the league.
6.) 25 May 2026 17:16:20
Would anyone take Ireloa? Is he an upgrade on Farke?
It would be harsh, but then again?
18 May 2026 05:01:23
West Ham are gone, a few players I’d try snap up.
I’d definitely get Summerville back, he’s young, has pace and can score. What’s his value, maybe 25-30?
I’d swap him for Piroe and James, that’s probably 20-25mil and they will need champo players.
I feel he is very good. I do like Okafor, but he is injury prone and think we need at least 2-3 wide men.
1.) 18 May 2026 07:26:41
Don't think we'd get Summerville for 20-30 tbh. Not convinced I'd want him back either.
But I would get rid of Piroe and James. No good to us at this level. Prob get 10 each.
2.) 18 May 2026 08:15:59
Have to smile at peeps wishing DJ is sold ..he'll be at Leeds United next seez for sure.
3.) 18 May 2026 08:20:42
I really do think that the chorus of boos for Cree at ER will have made his mind up to join anyone but us! It clearly and rightly upset him!
If he could be swayed tho, then the swap you suggest would be a belter for all parties!
4.) 18 May 2026 08:50:18
I think you're right Bright, I'm pretty sure we'd come the bottom of Cree's list of clubs to go to, although his mate Willy is still at the club, who knows.
Baz, you might be right that DJ won't be sold this summer but watching the game yesterday James's crossing was awful, when he plays I'm trying to find what he really offers to the team.
When Gnonto comes on there's always more threat.
5.) 18 May 2026 10:25:07
I agree OP that DJ's crossing wasn't great, but he still looked lively and dangerous in attack as a right wing back.
And DJ almost scored. 2 goals, a swerving right foot half volley shot which was going into the corner of the goal if not blocked.
And a decent left foot shot which was narrowly wide.
He also more than coped defensively at RWB.
DJ is also versatile. He has played four different positions under Bielsa and Farkey. He'll be at Leeds next seez. It's a given.
6.) 18 May 2026 19:04:36
Nothing is a given in football these days, Baz.
12 May 2026 01:10:41
Not a great game but fair result against a bogey team and nice without pressure, things we learnt or already knew
Baunotte not part of future, not on bench and 2 young ones in squad
Dan James not at this level and needs moving on and what does BA bring except effort, not good enough
Need to try sell a good few early, might be controversial but if want to go to next level I'd sell the following
Cairns, Perri, struijk, NMECHA, James, BA, gnoto, Bornauw, Piroe, geldhart, Harrison,
Looking at transfer value on line that could potentially bring in 90-110mil, but obviously have to sell, if we could recoup maybe 60 with sales and then spend another 100, could really improve squad
My choices for in coming, mainly in premier but sure a few bargains abroad
Arelo from west ham - 5mil or go large on trafford but be 20-25m
Axel Diasi from Chelsea 15-20m
Harry Wilson- free, might be tough, if can't then mane from wolves approx 15m
Cre Summerville 30 or james +20m
James macatee 25
Jonh duran 20-25
My starting line up be
Arelo
Roden BJ Diasi
Bogle Amps Stach GG
wilson Duran Summerville
Something like that, just my opinion, who would others like.
1.) 12 May 2026 13:51:06
I have a fuller post I'm submitting above, mate, but thought I'd add my thoughts specifically on your suggestions.
Areola. I honestly don't rate him, at least I don't think he's any better than what we have. I'd rather give a new contract to Darlow for another year, maybe with a performance triggered second yr. Areola would want 50K a week minimum, I'm pretty sure. I don't think Leeds would compete for Trafford. The best other option would be that he goes to Newcastle, like he nearly did last summer, and Pope moves to us (I still find that a bit underwhelming) . Keepers, I think we stick. Can't revamp every position every window, and whilst we could do better for sure, other areas are more glaring.
Disasi - 100% agree, mate. We want to be competitive in trying to get him if Chelsea are selling. I've mentioned him before too, and it's a nice shout.
Harry Wilson would be a nice signing. I think we're underdogs there unless the Welsh factor tips it in our favour. Mane also features as a backup option on my list if we fail to land my preferred target.
Mactee, it's very expensive, but he's talented, no doubt. I think £25m for a player who hasn't done well this year (that may not be his fault - four managers is a mess of a season) is too much, just me.
Cry is also one I think would be expensive if West Ham went down, but there is the advantage of him knowing Leeds, and he does look more confident in the last three months. I think your anticipated fee is accurate, though, so again, expensive (I get these are prem prices these days) .
Duran. What a signing that would be! He didn't come into my thinking at all; I assumed he would be out of reach, but given his season, I do think the mooted fee is fair and achievable after research. We should at least try to be competitive at that price in a bidding war. He might be a second choice for me behind Wind, purely because Wind is an upcoming free agent as things stand.
The only position I think your wishlist excludes, and that I think is a necessity, is a backup for Gabby. Justin has helped out there, and Struijk can play there in a desperate pinch. But we have three natural wingbacks of the correct quality in Bogle/Justin/Gabby, covering two spots, and we've done really well managing them this season. I think we need more depth there.
Nice shouts overall. It's always fun to gauge what people think we could do, or what they realistically want us to do.
2.) 12 May 2026 22:33:00
Cheers, Ealing. Interesting summer ahead.
11 May 2026 01:08:22
Congratulations to LUFC, a fantastic season and fully deserved to stay up, lots of great memories and performances, a few dropped points which hurt us at times, but overall amazing.
On to the last 3 games, hopefully keep up the momentum and finish strong and then hope they improve and invest in the team, Leeds needs to be a premiership club but will take investment in summer and some cuts
Any ideas on potential pot (without sales) , we think 100-120mil.
1.) 11 May 2026 07:07:36
If the 9ers stick to what was planned, then it will be around £80m before any sales.
2.) 11 May 2026 08:01:53
If that is the case, Alf, then Melbourne's top end figure of around £120m probably isn't going to be too far off the mark.
That would be a useful sum with which to bring in 3/4 upgrades on what we currently have.
3.) 11 May 2026 08:25:02
3/4 quality upgrades and prob couple fillers, Clegs. If we astute this time, and have proper list in place. ?
4.) 11 May 2026 15:33:59
£80M before any sales outturning to £120M seems somewhat optimistic to me. Where are the £40M sales coming from? £90-100M would be a more realistic estimate for me.

No guessing, just unbelievable knowledge. A lad from Shadwell, living in Oz, still on top of things. Am I the oracle?
MOT.
12 May 2026 22:43:29
Ealing, be great if can offload some of those players and get a decent starting kitty. Think ideally need to spend 100-130m, and if can raise 60+ from sales
Re BA, a sell. Try recoup, but he not good enough, even though he works hard
Not heard of that striker, tall and scores. I do rate Duran, but big money, but might be able to tempt
I know not a popular opinion, but I'd try sell Struijk, slow and out of position a lot, good in opposition box though, but I'd go for Mavropanos and Daisia
I just have this feeling Wilson wants to join his Welsh mates, probably won't happen
Also a budget winger from Leicester be Mavrapidi.
12 May 2026 22:33:00
Cheers, Ealing. Interesting summer ahead.
10 May 2026 22:28:27
I definitely would take a couple from spam if they go down. I said a few weeks ago that they have a few decent players.
Not many agreed with my thoughts on Summerville, but I would take him back. Very fast, skillful, can score, and young.
We are going to need a couple of wingers.
Think Okafor good but injury prone, I’d sell/swap plus cash with these 2, Gnonto and James, for Summerville.
I also rate their 2nd choice GK, Iraoela, good shot stopper.
Can’t see Bowen happening, but I do rate him, and lastly I’d take Daisia, their CB that’s on loan, looks good.
25 Apr 2026 12:59:33
Dougie, if we stay up, I’d sell a few players and try to bring in cash. For me, I’d sell Perri, Longstaff, DJ, Gnonto, BA, Piroe, Bournow.
Right, MF, I’d try to offer Harry Wilson decent cash as he is on a free, he is big mates with the Wales boys and could possibly be tempted.
I agree with you, Rw, CMF, striker and new #1GK and CB.
I would try for Jon Duran for striker, either Trafford or West Ham GK Ariole (good shot stopper) .
Also depends on who gets relegated. If Spam, I’d try to get back Summerville and think Daisia from Spam is decent.
Quite like Mane from Wolves.
