Personally I don't see him as cocky, but I do see him as confident which is different and you do need your keeper to be on top form mentally.
He can definitely play the ball out as well, a welcomed change from Pickford's constant big hoof up the pitch.

The difference between cocky and confident is simple. Do your job adequately. Don't try and goad strikers closer to you. Don't play with the ball.
Do you see strikers trying to goad a keeper to come at them? No.
Keepers job is save and distribute. Simple. He is both. Confident and getting cocky.

You didn't see the game Aus, but I did and can tell you that he was in no way cocky last night, but always moved the ball on in good time before the Spanish players got too close. He was badly let down by the defenders for goals 1 and 2, and for goal 3 one might say he was just a tad slow getting off his line if being really hard on him, but then a top striker like Oyarzabal would have still found a way past him after having been allowed to go 1 on 1 by the defenders.

I think you should open your eyes when watching a football game Whiteman, you certainly didn't watch the same football match as me.
What seems as the general disdain for every goalkeeper that is employed by Leeds United in recent years is very prevalent in yourself and one or two others on this forum.

it's certainly not general consensus of every Leeds fan concerning Trafford.
That type of ?from fans like you is not what the player deserves or has to tolerate.
