Yeah we've brought players in, but the talk of a £35m for a marquee striker, turned into a freebie and one with an injury record at that.
Might as well have Orta and Kinear back peddling their BS.

It looks like an absolute pigs ear of a deadline day as far as LUFC are concerned. Farke has been constantly telling them what is needed and they have let him down.

Delap is injured so Chelsea call back Guii after paying compensation to Sunderland. Within 48 hours they manage to get in a new striker and one, maybe two new players. God, we are absolutely pedestrian in recruitment and also for selling. I would have thought that the 49's would want to protect and and enhance their investment but maybe they've been conned like all the fans. Heads need to roll but not Farke's because he's been hung out to dry. I feel very sorry for him.

Yeah Baz, I get that about the keepers. Perri was a big gamble, or rather a compromise of who they really wanted. Had he worked out, then I'm sure the striker would've possibly been a record-breaking transfer this season. However, it didn't, so we have to play with the cards we are dealt. Providing we see this season out, then that may be the next big thing & perhaps the 10 that we've been screaming for for the last 4 seasons!
I honestly don't think the club are that stupid that they think they can get through the season or to Jan, with just 2 strikers.
I'm prepared to do the walk of shame later today if that's the case.
I visited Japan a few years back. It's some place. I recommend it to everyone as a place to go.

Well to be fair Baz, you've already doubled down on your keeper transfers.& were wrong both times.
Not too trusting, but not prepared to throw my toys out of the pram. yeah, we all wanted a striker & it was supposed to be the main target, but for one person on here to say "I'll be furious if we don't sigh Flemming" is hilarious :)
I'm just back from Seoul actually Baz, saw a few man utd tops, so definitley a market to exploit, although baseball is their thing.

No Baz, I'd rather leave it to the club & trust their judgement, as they know the finances of the club & the targets, rather than crying & moaning on here, because they didn't sign someone who, I heard, Dave down the chippy, whose mate knows Farke's postman, said we were signing.
Half of the lads are crying because we didn't sign players X, Y & Z, when we weren't even in for them in the first place.

No striker, but who would we have signed & how would we have played them? Are you wanting to spend £40m-ish? The system works perfectly for DCL, so who do you bring in & sacrifice on the pitch?
The new Boy Bahoya wasn't a last minute panic buy. Alf Cuppa had mentioned they were looking at him on here a few weeks back. Let's see what he can do.

Mudryk - not played for 2 seasons & attitude problems. We've just sent Ramazani away for attitude. So we've dodged a bullet there (IMO) , especially with the price tag.
Personally, I think the signings are improvements not just on the pitch, but in general. Look at the last time we came up & some of the crap that we signed & then failed to improve on.

I'm not sure how not signing a striker converts wins to draws & draws to losses, Ausman, unless you're wanting to put a striker in goal.

Let's be honest here. Anyone going to Sunderland is going for the wages. It's hardly the bright lights of the North East that's attracting them, is it. Paixio turned us down last season, which is fair enough. He wasn't interested in the project last year, so if he does go to Sunderland, let's hear what his scripted BS about joining them is.
