Agree much as he was great in his service to our beloved team, I never believe in going backwards new blood is wanted, who is another matter.

Our early optimism about this season given our reasonable start is waning. Before the kick off of the first game we all had our doubts as to whether we had enough to stay up. Me and others predicted a long tough season with little to cheer about. I too had hopes lifted by our opening few games . Games won a few goals and a solid defence but it seems to have shuddered to a halt. No pressure on the ball. Too easy to play through. No intensity. No real game plan of how we will pressure and get at teams.
I have never really got farkes football. Whether after the excitement of bielsa ball everything seems a little dull I do not know.
I believe that farke won the championship because he had the best team not because he was the best manager. So if farke goes or stays I do not see our games being that much more winnable because of the quality of the players. I wasn't convinced that farke was our best manager in the championship and he certainly isn't in the.

Public health warning, doom n gloom post coming up.
1-0 to Forrest today.
West ham n forrest to pull away from the bottom, our tough run til the turn of the year will drag us into the bottom 3.
DF will go in late Dec, transfer window will open when we'll be managerless. Probably end up with big Sam again π€£.

The more I think of our situation at present with the squad available it absolutely boils down to the extremely poor standard or limited standard of those players being able to perform consistently so yes out of 10 games so far we have had 4 maybe 5 acceptable performances that have yielded our points but 50% of our games have not been EPL standard and until January when hopefully the owners recognise that 2 or 3 new EPL quality signings are urgently needed then the next 10 games will continue this trend but I doubt we'll have another 11 points, maybe 5 if we're lucky.
It's like a cup giant killing side is always capable of raising themselves against superior opposition for a one off encounter but soon their limitations usually mean they can't keep this up the next time or the time after that.
Better sides/ squads in the EPL will have occasional off days like Everton, Newcastle and Bournemouth and I think we took advantage of that and the side were able to raise It's level but against Arsenal, Brighton and Burnley our true quality or lack of showed and will continue to do so which Farke does have my sympathy as in all honesty he is working with an EPL pigs ear.
The owners have effed up massively and unforgivably but unfortunately I fear this damage will almost certainly seal our fate whoever is the manager as the only new coach that could possibly get a more consistent tune out of this squad is spoken for managing Uruguay. I now doubt Rogers, Mancini, Gerrard, Rosenior, Corberan or Gary O'Neil will be able to stop the bleeding.
Unless we sign Toney or Mitrovic and a creative spark and leader in midfield and out wide in January I pretty much think we'll be relegated.
What a wasted opportunity. again!

I agree Cheshire on most points.
The owners have to hold their hands up for a pigs ear of a transfer window. Gabby and oks have been ok but nowhere near the quality of firpo and Solomon. Longstaff has been steady but no better than ao or gruev. Stach all beit injured form has gradually declined each game.
The rest have been woeful and worse than what we had.
Maybe Justin should be left out of the woeful section.
I disagree re manager though. This team may not be epl quality and may get relegated whoever managers them. But we may also get a new manager who drops out of form players, is an astute tactician and is adequate and in game management. Maybe itβs those qualities we should seek rather than prem experience.

He should have been sacked weeks ago.
None of this "in X games we need to revaluate" he has had X games, more than once.
Time to go.
02 Nov 2025 17:18:10
Who do you want bringing in?
01 Nov 2025 17:22:09
Does anybody think that the 49's might eventually realise we aren't looking good for staying up and changes are needed? But on the other hand, whilst we have the number of paying fans and paying ordinary wages, their profits are acceptable.
