Not my choice either. Temperament a bit suspect IMO and seems to go off the rails if things are not going his way. Too much of a risk although he has turned in some good performances from time to time.

Don't be suduced by Haigh. He went along with this for long enough. What happened to him was dispicacpicable but he was right in the thick of things and was paid well. Don't really think we're hearing anything new. They came to flip the club and make a profit, there dodgy as he'll and all there deals are the same, make a fast buck, leave when things go wrong. Yeah heard it all before.

Well apart from anything else, it makes a total mockery of the FL 'Fit and Proper Person test' If they insist on keeping their ridiculous test, the first thing they should check is that the buyers have enough money to at least pay the wages.

Some very good posts here. The interviewer didn't probe Haigh enough. Haigh is not innocent because he should've walked away. He listed huge problems including being lied to then he said he was assured there were solutions by those liars and he believed them! Why would he believe? Because he saw pound signs and almost as vain as them. As I said before I am close to changing my tune about Cellino but will wait for Part 3.

The "fit and proper test" only takes into consideration criminal activity not economic wellbeing. Just because GFH are useless does not excuse Cellino his ad antics and an we should all become apologist for him. Where do we keep going with this do we feel sorry for GFH because they followed bates? No. People were writing at the time of purchase that GFH didn't have the money go run the club. It seems as long as a deal is done and you haven't got a parking ticket or a restraining order from your sister in law, your in.

Agree with George that the interviewer was useless. He should have been asking why Haigh didn't walk away. Why are we having staggered releases, almost expecting the drums from East enders at the end of every part. First question in part 3 should be "You knew they were useless and curupt. Yet flew out to a attend a job interview. Why did you want to work for such an organisation? "

On youtube for Yorkshire t. v if any one not seen it have a look it got me thinking

GFH are a cancerous vermin but that is not an excuse forcing Cellino to make insane in the membrane decisions and adopt a nonsensical football model that has zero applicability in Yorkshire. If he had saved up and retained staff from McDermott he could have bought out half of GFH shares by now. Instead 10m is down the river via court cases.
