Reports circulating that Liverpool are going to make a push for Jaka Bijol.

I get its the new world of the prem, but devastating if so. Important we build on the sparse, but great recruitment of this year. Jaka's been exceptional. If he does go, I'd hope it's a massive fee.

Even if it's true, there shouldn't be any real concerns. We should stay up and he's contracted until 2030. He then stays for the push higher up the league, or he goes for a very large fee.

What's a fair price these days for world class international defender? 65mill.

I would hope the days of us selling our gems are over. If we want to establish ourselves, we have to keep the foundations of the side: Amps, Stach, Bijol, Boges, Gabi, Okafor, DCL, Rodon, Okafor, etc.

Bijol and Stach to leave for no less than £60 million. The top clubs will pay it, no worries, and we get a big warchest to buy new players, which allows us to sell other players, freeing up more money to buy more players. Our full team cost, what, £250 million? We could sell our starting 11 for more than that.

Vid, mate. That's how the likes of Palace, Bournemouth, Brighton, etc., survive on their recruitment. Getting 60 plus for our wanted players will give us 2 new, decent replacements. Providing the recruitment team are on it.

? ? ? Even the top six decide whether to sell on, investing sale price. It's horrible to me. There's no loyalty, mostly between clubs or players. Wonder how long before the transfer window is abolished to suit the big boys?

Trouble is, MoT, if we sell players like that, we are ripping up a recipe for success. It's so hard to recruit the right players who complement each other, and if some go, the whole thing is broken.

It doesn't matter how much dosh you get, you cannot replace that combination. Buying big does not guarantee it's going to work. We simply must keep the core of what makes us tick.

Maybe, Vid. On the flip side, we have rebuilt the squad three times and had an outstanding team each time. I wouldn't sell them, not for anything less than laughable sums. If we got offered those sums, though.

60 mill for a player who can't even get a start? All day long.

Rumour is Pool are circulating Corke. You know better, I suppose. Give him away, eh? If they want him, pay up. Or we keep him. Simple.

We will 100% certainly sell if the price is right, as that is part of the strategy. Recruit players at low value, at a good age, with high resale potential. It also works for the players we signed with a history of injuries - if we can sort them and / or improve the player, then we make money to reinvest.

This will be the way until we are established top 6 according to the plan, and the only way to even start to compete against the financial behemoths.

Newcastle made them pay through the nose for Isak, and whilst I absolutely do not want to lose him, if it comes to that then we should do likewise. £60 Mil, you've got to be joking you scousers, make it £90 Mil and we just might think about it, but don't hold yout breath.
