9 games to go, and we play Spuds, Hammers, Wolves and Burnley - we win 3 of those and we should be safe.

And unfortunately, each one of those games will be proverbial Cup finals! Mega pressure! Let's see how the lads hold up under that, and the hefty burden of expectation that comes with the shirt on those occasions!

Quietly (very) confident of a 15 point return from our remaining games.

Yes, please, Class.

We just need a win under our belts, and the confidence will start to flow again. Hopefully, our victory (albeit in the Cup against Championship opposition) will be the kick start we need. :)

I hope you're right, Class. I see staying in this season as potentially a bigger "turn the corner" moment for the club than we potentially had within reach under Marcelo, in that we have better owners and long-term plans that will galvanise the future of the club.

I agree that we can, and should, do it, but we're gonna have a few more twitchy rings before it's confirmed!

Spuds, Sham, Wolves, and Burnley are all in or near the drop zone, like us, and fighting for their PL lives. Counterintuitively, I think we have a better chance of winning against Palace, Brentford, Bournemouth, and Brighton, who all think they're safe.

No way will we get 15pts. I like the idea, but it's gonna be very hard to muster 9 - 11pts, which is probably what we're gonna need.

I can see 12.

I hope you are correct, Class. I like your optimism. Does that include winning the FA Cup as well!

Based upon my zero correct predictions record to date, Feath, I confidently predict we will not win the FA Cup.

A bit unfair on Radz, I think, Brighty?
A little early to say we have better ownership. Bielsa n Marche were backed substantially in the transfer market, as have Farke. Time will tell how good our current owners are, but as of now, no better than Radz was at the time of ownership.

You're possibly partly right, tbf, Corkey. I did like Radz, and he had the best interests of the club at heart. I guess to clarify, I should say that I believe the current owners have the greater capacity to take the club to the next level, as we've seen with the plan to extend the ground now getting the go ahead.

Let's not forget that our advancement has been hindered (more than a little) by the financial shambles they inherited for the former regime too.
To be clear, Radz was defo not a bad owner, but somewhat limited vs the potential we now have with 49ers and RB. (All only imo, of course!)
