What’s people’s view on Ramazani?
The guy is tearing up La Liga last couple of months after injury derailed his early season.
Personally I thought he was our most dangerous attacker before DF deemed him not good enough and loaned him out.
Has DF got favourites? God damn right he has.

Aaronson plays the whole time. Tanaka gets dropped for losing possession once and gets chastised on the pitch from the coach. Aaronson loses possession four times in two minutes yet continues to get a start.
If we stay up it will be in spite of our coach.

Offensively, I liked what he gave when fit, but his defensive effort was a bit weak, but it takes time to develop into the English game.

Good player. Should never have been loaned out.

He and Joseph were loaned out at the 49ers' discretion. Farke preferred both to be sold, which is why I still believe Paraag isn't Farke's biggest fan and will be looking to change him in the summer.

That's illogical, really, because Ramy obviously got talent. Just because of his goal celebrations, probably. Joseph, I understand, but Ramy is dubious if he wants him sold.

To put a little context to Ramazani ripping up La Liga, he's scored five goals, with three of those, I believe, being penalties.
If you want to see that as prolific goal scoring, then go ahead.
I imagine it's more of an anti-Farke agenda again.

What do you think to the ba part of the post, Opti?

Ramazani is wanted back at ER next season, I've read. No plans to sell him, and the loan was seen as being for his benefit. People can come up with whatever theories they want, I guess, but none are facts.
Also, I read that Joseph is done at ER, on the other hand.

Paraag and Co.

Farkey defo seemed to dislike Rama's goal celebrations, as he similarly disliked some of Geogi Rutter's flair.

As for Rama, Ramazani is arguably considerably more talented than what we currently have, imo. Other coaches would have far better utilised his talents.

Aus, I doubt BA has a long future at Leeds United, but he has surprised many since Farke adopted a new formation.
Recently, he is not enjoying the same form, but that can go for many of the players.

At home, visiting teams are adapting to our game and stifling our play, and I suspect BA is not being allowed any free space to exploit.

In my opinion, the quality of our play is often short of what is really needed to make any real impact in the Premiership. We give the ball away far too often from misplaced passes, and I'm sure Farke would like the passing in advanced play to be more rapid, but if we start doing that we'll be giving the ball away more often than we do already.

It is what it is for the time being. We keep trying and keep fighting as a team.
As I've said before repeatedly, if we finish 17th this season it will be a victory and a great success by all concerned.

As fans, we always want more, but sometimes you just have to accept that it's going to be tough for a while yet.
But if we do get through this period, the rewards will be insurmountable.

I didn't imply Rama was prolific in scoring, but in the last ten games or so, he has been getting top reviews in Spain.
Five goals scored, albeit two or three penalties, three Man of the Match awards, and a Goal of the Month is pretty decent.
We should have kept him, and there's zero argument to be had on this.

I'll argue against it. I'm not sure he's physical enough for the Premiership.

Fair enough post, Opti. Above above.

Physical enough? That gets bandied about certain players, to be fair.
Phil Foden, Luka Modric and our own Aaron Lennon were all players who had that said about them.

True enough, Corksta. And Manor Soloman too, who I would've had over Rama this season anyway.

Look, maybe he has the physicality for the Premiership. Who knows?
Who knows if he's even any good. We've hardly ever seen him play at all.
What I don't get is how, strangely, a bit-part player for Leeds Utd in the Championship has now suddenly become the answer for us to shoot up the Premiership.

You are tiresome OP at times.
I was basically saying it was a mistake to loan out an attacker especially when not bringing back Solomon. Rama has eventually started playing really well in Spain and we have seen his talent at Leeds last year.

29 Mar 2026 23:22:44
What makes you so cock sure and certain it was a mistake Cork?

Playing more often than not a 3-5-2 it's our wing backs who are most of the time relied on.

In my estimation Okafor, Gnonto and Baz's favorite the irreplaceable Dan James are all low quality wingers for the Premiership in my opinion.
We simply need better, non of them have any real bite in the final third and is the sole reason why one of the best aerial goal scorers in DCL has been fed on scraps so far this season.

If you are to tell me that another low quality winger in Ramazani is what is needed in our dysfunctional winger department then I really don't know what to say!

Blaming constantly Farke, DCL, Aaronson the 49ers and everyone else on a daily basis though Cork is tiresome, as the word you like to label me with.

30 Mar 2026 19:28:08
? OP.
We loaned out Rama and then paid 19 mill for a player of similar talents, Okafor, who, let's be honest, has done very little to justify his price tag.
Maybe ? should explain better in my posts?

I don't blame DCL whatsoever. He has been left on an island most of the season.
