It’s good to see that we’ve had, I think, seven different players that have scored so far this season.
Surely that’s got to be a good sign this early on in the season?

We have players who can score from back to front.. even Amps, Gruev and Gudmundsson.. so yep.

The worrying news is that, imo, we definitely miss Rodon in defence.. his leadership and presence especially.

Leeds this season with Rodon: 2 wins out of 2 and zero goals conceded.

Without Rodon: 0 wins out of 3 and 8 goals conceded.

I was concerned last season, and to a degree, I am also concerned for this season, with the supply to Dcl, which hasn't been great. I'm hoping that Wilson will turn that corner and help Dominic out with some quality passes.
Until then, it's good to know that every player is chipping in with their share of goal scoring.

A plumber can do painting, it doesn't make him a painter. It's good to have (handyplayers) who can score goals, and thank God we do. Yes, we are very positive. We had 3 last night and they had 4.

Well, Baz, he didn't put a foot wrong in the first half, saved everything, punched everything, and his distribution was all but perfect.

I don't think Trafford would have done any better, other than perhaps the 5th goal.



On "live," folks were already saying he was better than Darlow, so he was impressing some at one point. You can blame the keeper, but frankly the defence in the second half was terrible [unlike the first half].

Well, Ani, hopefully we don't get to see Zet in goal again. He's on his heels, and statue impressions really grated.

For me, £45 million Trafford and most goalies should have saved. They should definitely have been looking to save the 2nd goal, and at least blooming try to save it, fgs.

The 5th goal was atrocious through his legs.

Agree, Ani. The defense wasn't sharp enough in the second half. They were very quick and precise at moving the ball around our box, and it was like we were chasing shadows.

We can definitely contain them better than that, and that's not because of Rodon's exclusion. The defense has to be more alert, or, better still, don't give the ball away in midfield so easily, like Okafor did, which directly led to a goal.



We do have issues at times with not being able to hold possession. Aaronson and Tanaka are guilty of that on many occasions in games.
When you lose the ball often and cheaply against opposition like Arsenal and Chelsea, you will get punished.

JR, I think Welbeck, with due respect, will be choosing Chelsea, with their wages and current stature, over us every day of the week.
I still think even with another striker whose quality would have been less than Calvert-Lewin for the price we could afford, he would find it even harder than Welbeck does to fashion a goal with less than mediocre attacking support.
