Good result for Villa this evening.
Looking once again at their team sheet are they much better than Leeds United?
If anything I'd have more Leeds players in a combined eleven.

Yeah, for instance would say Mings and 32 year old Ross Barkley ( remember him as a teen playing on loan at Leeds United 14 years ago) get into our team ?

But what Villa definitely do have is a multiple trophy winning excellent coach in Emery !

Thats probably why our manager was only given a two year extension to his contract. I guess they sit and look at other results of teams we play see how other team do against them as we all do as posted Or some sort of analysis.

If unfortunately if our loss don't turn to draws and I draws turn to wins as wished above things will move on.

Unai Emery is a good coach but he's not an elite coach in my opinion.
He's got a knack for winning the UEFA cup but I can't see him getting anywhere near a Champions League final especially with the team he's got now.

I still believe Villa bent the financial rules to get themselves a quality team and sadly for them through their big spending and dodgy accounting they've had to pay the price by shedding their top stars.

I haven't got much time for Aston Villa and Emery, they've got some proper Champions League games coming up soon which will probably put their progress into a more realistic scenario.
As for their league campaign I don't see them higher than mid table by the end of season.

All pink fluff but no real substance and I'm looking forward to see how are own coach deals with Emery and his team at Elland rd.

Regrettably OP we have already seen how Farke dealt with Emery last seez when Farke's Leeds lost to Emery's Villa at ER

Emery is a very good manager would lurve him at Leeds ; he is without doubt better than Farke.

I greatly enjoyed the Bielsa Leeds teams memorably winning at Villa 3 -2 and 3 -0.hopefully Leeds can at least beat Villa once this seez.

That was then Baz, this is now. Will Emery's Villa beat Farke's United this time, we shall see. Manzambi has been a fantastic addition, and Jackson has been better than I thought he'd be, but their other new signings have been now't special, so I think we can (and should) do better agin then this time.
