Both teams were really poor, rubbish game for the fans.
The result should have been a nil nil draw contrary to what I thought.
What can you do when you gift the opposition with a goal.
Lack of decent passing yet again our downfall.
That final third appears to be a very difficult phase for us to deal with atmo, keeps fizzling out with bad decisions and passes.

Thought we were doing reasonably well until Trafford's error, it gave Bournemouth momentum which made it much harder for us.
Second half I almost fell asleep from an entertainment point of view.
Bournemouth won't care though.
For me too many of our players are under performing, we do need a win, hope it happens against Spurs.

Think we are gonna have to have a word with ourselves OP, cos after all of that hype from the opening matches we are starting to look very vulnerable and ineffective going forward. There aint no spark and we are becoming very meh.

Time to step up a level DF and the boys before its too late and we get caught up in a bun fight cos looking at it a large number of points is gonna be required to avoid going down.

Not sure has this team burnt it self out our captain was poor but than so many others were the same our passing is the worse thing I have seen from this group, this game gives me no confidence for the next six games Farkey will need to wave his wand to sort this out.
I believe 49 will be thinking the same.

I'm not too worried. I think we're regressing to mean. We had a good start. Now we're in the first poor patch. I said if we failed to pick up a win from these two Sunderland and Bournemouth games then it would be an average start after what had initially been a good start.

Three of our next four are tough games. Spurs in form (just like Bournemouth were) , Chelsea. Coventry now looks critical.

But some clubs below us have really tough looking fixtures. The passing looked off today as a few have said.

We still look really hard to beat. The error today and just a late finish. Yes we don't look like scoring and that is a concern. I actually think Wilson started quite well - nice little involvement in dcls offside goal and a fair drive from 25 yards. Not ready to give up on him quite yet. James looked awful could run and his final ball absolutely atrocious.

I trust Farke but I do wish he would rotate a little more. See what bard is about. Give bahoya a bit more than a cameo.

With my friends we all did a full table before opening day of where we think we'll finish. I went for an optimistic 11th. By end of the weekend we'll be there or thereabouts. It's a tough league this year. All the newly promoted are picking up points. The lower teams who made Europe in palace and Sunderland are struggling badly indeed.

Sunderland will be rooted to the table I think with Chelsea spurs villa and Liverpool their next four.

Forest have city Bournemouth Chelsea hull Brighton

Manchester united have villa Liverpool Brentford and Newcastle with Europe too.

My point is there are no easy games anymore. You have either play well, benefit from a red card or mistake or a big piece of fortune to win games. We haven't had much of any of that yet this season (bar GG avoiding a red Vs man u perhaps) .

I expect to see Bahoya given more of a chance soon. Let's see.

I think Farke needs to give the players the license to be a bit braver, there's the element of risk in that of course but we definitely need to produce some goals, Dominic has literally no service whatsoever.

This does present itself as a challenge for Daniel Farke now, defensively we are still solid but he's got to find a way to open up the opposition. I think he has to gamble a bit, I feel we only need a goal to win a game,
Take that risk in the first twenty minutes with a high press to force the advantage.
I get the feeling we are playing too safe which makes us look ponderous.

If we carry on like this I still don't think we'll end up in a relegation battle, but we won't be far from it. I'm pretty sure Farke will not be happy with the goals drying up, I do expect some tweaking with his game plan at some point.

Good post that Ealing but we can't put all the pressure on Bohoya to sort out our attacking service.
I think Farke will slowly introduce him with bench starts and that's rightly so in my estimation, he does need to protect him from the already huge expectations put on the young lad.

I want to see some of our other players step up to the plate, they are very clearly underperforming, for instance Stach, he's completely fallen off the map.
We do need a win to inject some much needed energy and confidence.

Ya it definitely feels at times,Farke hits a wall unable to implement change and just gives the impression that he's happy to draw a game

It seems a very dangerous tactic in such an intense league, Being pragmatic is fine a lot of the time but Farke has a tendency to accept it all too regularly

Again I reiterate thw game v Utd was crying out for a bit of something, yet Farke drowned it out with a very poor oversight of a very weak Utd team

Lose 1-2 more in a row and he's under the kosh big time.

they'll draw up something new, they have to. Okafor is a flair player but is fairly streaky, Aaronson hard-working and streaky, Wilson continues to adapt, as I said he looked slightly better before trafford's mistake drained any momentum we'd built up.

Teams know about the Bogle-Justin build up now so can plan for it. What might work if when Rodon comes back, if we slot him in at lcb (if he can play that side) and give him license to tandem with GG similar to Justin and Bogle. If we continue to play three at back then the centre backs can do that just at different times.

And he can't be too far away, next int break at the latest surely.

Again a good post Ealing, I can visualize that with Rodon, not only that I think his presence and leadership on the pitch has been greatly missed.
It could very well be Daniel's ticket to getting us some positive results.
Let's hope so.

I'll actually back Wilson the most. Historically he was a slow starter for Fulham, it took him time to build into a season. Must be even harder in a new club even if half of Wales plays for Leeds. I reckon he gets one he'll go on a streak of goals/assists.

Again he looked slightly better today before we went behind. There was the James break where he got into a great position James just couldn't pick him out. James I've officially given up on. Its been ages since I remember him doing anything useful. Id give BA more chances than I would James. And Bahoya before BA.

Heck if DCL is struggling through it a bit why not give Nmecha a start. The guy is reportedly unhappy with the playing time. That sometimes lights a fire if the player is good enough. Give him the first half vs. Spurs. If he works out, great. If he doesn't DCL gets a larger rest and comes on at hft fresh vs. a tiring Spurs defence (assuming we are still in the game) .

Yes i agrée there were some positive signs from Wilson, I guess when many of the other players who are underperforming it's not helping his cause either.

On Spurs next weekend, I'm not completely convinced by their fortunate turnaround, a win against a Jeykell and Hyde Chelsea with their susceptible defense and against a ten man Palace for a large part of the game and their dodgy defense also. They will be pegged back by someone soon.

Nmencha doesn't have many fans on this forum but he definitely can bring something to the table as he did show last season. You could be right in giving Dom a game off to give him an opportunity to showcase himself on our turf.
It is evident that our attacking line up does need some kind of alteration, whether that be player or tactical adjustments.

I wouldn't call myself a big Nmecha fan either, but I'd give him a chance to put up or shut up. Last season there was no denying he was an excellent super sub with vital goals vs. Everton, Fulham etc. This season he's been given 5 minutes here five minutes there and many of those on a flank than centrally.

I dont especially like him but there is some sympathy there therefore.
