Reportedly Perri booked in Turin for medical Tuesday, so either Leeds unveil Trafford tomorrow or we have a squeaky period with 1 keeper!

They won't let Perri go unless they've two lined up; otherwise, selling clubs will know you're desperate to recruit. Trafford should be one. Not sure about the other.
We need to get Trafford tied up as Martinez is not happy at Villa, and although he's returning to pre-season, he is very much on Juve's radar.

Trafford, and then find someone from the Championship as backup. Is it Johnston at Wolves?

Definitely need at minimum 1 keeper. Hopefully, we have a young keeper on our books we can trust as a back up.
Cairns, for me, isn't the one.
I think we dropped the ball with Darlow, personally.

Yes Mighty, we deffo dropped the ball with Darlow.

Agree, LLF. Johnston is the sort of back up you need. Experience, reasonably good career, but someone who is at the end of it. No good getting a good youngster, as they don't progress. They need to be bought and loaned out.

100% on Darlow. Spose the owners still believe in loyalty over dollars. Worrying.

So far just 2 signings incoming.

Just 5 weeks of the window remain.

Zetterstrom at Derby would be good, but might regard being our No2 as a bit of a comedown after playing for Sweden in the World Cup.

Darlow should have been signed up to a longer contract with more money well before the season ended.
Talk now that there is a complication with Perri's potential move because of agent's financial demands and who pays it.
Nightmare are agents. The players employ the agents and they should pay them.

Why does it always take us forever to get transfers done.

Because there are too many people and too much money involved, Dave.

Why/how did the club drop the ball with Darlow?

Most professional footballers want to see what their options are at the end of the contract, and having game time just put him in the shop window even more. It wasn't anything to do with GK status; it was all about the money.

It was his last contract, so who can blame him.

He did exactly the job we wanted of him when we signed him, and now we buy better moving forward. Perri out is the move we needed, as he was rank tbf.
