Thing that impressed me yesterday was our fitness and the speed we countered at when we turned it over .

Granted it was wolves, and we will face far tougher opponents but winning is a super morale booster

Longstaff looking a lot more assured and Guddy just keeps on impressing me

Yes Chris Gudmundsson also impressed me yesterday. Who knows, maybe some of the doubters of our recruitment this summer might be proved wrong after all?!
Also Longstaff who needed a bit of time to settle in is also showing some very positive signs. I fancy we’ll see him score a few goals this season which we do need from our midfielders

Well said early days, I always speak about patterns of play. Any game can be taken out of context but the shape and patterns is good indicator for mid term and I think mid term things looks good.

Funny. We had one of the easiest opening fixtures and berm is using this as patterns and mid term.

Watched all the game yesterday, midfield and defence looked very solid and incredibly committed throughout, DCL really put in a shift and really seemed up for it yesterday especially in his hold up play and in the air.

Need our wing play to improve though especially in terms of crosses into the box for DCL to attack, his goal came from an excellent Bogle cross, would really like to see Bogle if fit play in front of Justin who looked very good when he came on.

Really don’t understand the BA experiment I counted seven times in the second half where he either, slipped, fell over, or simply dived over, he truly is not EPL level.

I note people say he works hard but he cost over £35 million and honestly I just don’t see a player there at all, I know we got a great win with him playing but there will be games he costs us if this continues as Wolves clearly targeted his wing second half.

Okafor, yes he lost possession too many times first half including for the first goal but there was a lot to admire yesterday too, I think he’s probably 80% fit just now but still he was the only Leeds United player capable of beating his man one on one yesterday and that was so important in terms of maintaining a threat and getting us up the pitch.

Finally DF, I’ve mentioned personally don’t agree with BA selection at all but DF got tactics spot on yesterday Wolves went almost totally route one second half but it was noticeable how tight and well structured we were in defence and centre midfield, calm too, so well done Daniel keep it up.

Well Dan we have a surplus now of defenders, so it's goals that are required of him and he fails miserably at that

However dancing on ice maybe looking for contestants, as in reality the only thing he excels at is falling over

Woeful again yesterday, surely at this point 9'ers are saying he must play because lard -ass from Stand by me, would be more effective out on his wing.

Good post Class I agree with all. I have mentioned it before about our flanks and how it has been weakened or at least not good enough to have a great success in the Premiership.
But we are where we are and our attempt to bring in a quality winger in Paixao failed, why ? because at this moment in time we are not an attractive proposition.
But that will come with our hopeful progress in the Premiership.
We will literally have to grind this season out with the likes of Aaronson unfortunately and fingers crossed we will find a way to survive our first season.

Darlow is growing in confidence and looks very competent although I will say his distribution is still left wanting.
The expected loss of Bogle with his injury will do us no favours I expect, he is in my estimation a key player for us to succeed this season. I hope he’s not out for long.

So far so good, if we can pick up points against fellow strugglers then we are in a good place. It’s at Elland rd that we have to make our battles hard fought and it will decide our destiny of whether we survive this league or not.
Onwards and Upwards.

A few posters now agreeing with pushing JB further up the pitch and putting JJ into right back. He will defend and moreover attack better than BA will.

Three good goals yesterday and three so valuable points. A lot of spirit shown to come back so well after falling behind. Wolves score threat three times ours however shows it was a closer game than the score suggests

Darlow maybe MOM also tells that story but so pleased for the lads must surely boost our confidence going into four games where we really should look to press on.

Anyway like all Leeds fan a happy supporter today👏👏.

Great result, steadies the nerves and shows that Okafor and DCL can be effective for us.

Despite the very unfortunate loss to Fulham only Arsenal have completely outplayed us this season (and they will outplay most teams in the prem) .

Most of the reports I've read saying that we have brought in sufficient PL quality to more than compete in the division. Perhaps a bit of a hasty assessment from them, just on today's game, but I do agree Vid, that I can see us improving over time. Plus, we gave injured players to return to the squad too!

There was a lot of swelling to his foot, minimum I’d say that's two weeks with nothing broken but a cracked or fractured metatarsal can be four to eight weeks.
