Gonna make a prediction. Leeds will buy back Lewis Cook in the not to distant future.
Ok I've had a few but it will happen!

1.) 02 Oct 2018 10:54:01
I'm going to make a prediction too cork. I'm going to get ruined tonight in Las Americas.

2.) 02 Oct 2018 15:17:43
I’m going to make a prediction, Martyn is right! Have a good one!

3.) 02 Oct 2018 17:37:11
Oh you made it Martyn 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great to hear mate, watch the game in Linekers then hit Veronica’s for a late night boogie?

4.) 02 Oct 2018 17:37:12
Think spurs will outbid us on cook

Milner will sign on a free.

5.) 02 Oct 2018 18:51:30
Don't do veronica, s class. Too many whipper snappers their to push me patience if ya dig me drift 😉 I'll stick to Buzz bar and bulls head it keeps me out of bother.

6.) 02 Oct 2018 21:13:08
Me too Martyn that was tongue firmly in cheek!
Have a great time mate 👍.

25 Sep 2018 21:26:50
Just had a bit of a ding dong with a fellow Leeds fan. He says we under achieved under O'Leary. I say the opposite.
My point was how many of that team would of got in to the Man United team?
Woodgate Ferdinand and Viduka were my opinion. Maybe Gary Kelly.
That team done well imo just a shame things went tits up.

1.) 25 Sep 2018 23:37:50
I personally love that thing, getting to the champions league semi finals is great with the team we had. Tremendous heart. But we underachieved in the fact we didn't win anything, which we probably could've.

2.) 26 Sep 2018 00:26:39
What about dacourt.

3.) 26 Sep 2018 00:29:13
Oh yea and Alan Smith. Oh yea he did get on the man u team. Then there's paul Robinson and radebe who man u tried to buy.

4.) 26 Sep 2018 08:26:28
Dacourt wouldn’t of gotten in above Keane or Scholes and Smith was only a bit part player there. Can’t believe I forgot about Radebe though!

5.) 26 Sep 2018 10:27:04
Sorry Cork ya mate was correct!

6.) 26 Sep 2018 12:35:21
I think we overachieved in the European Cup, but definitely underachieved in all the other competitions, even the League Cup woulda been nice :)

7.) 26 Sep 2018 13:28:56
Ok it would of been nice to win a domestic cup competition but in all honesty we weren’t quite at the level needed for the big trophies although only two or three signings short.
They were great times and I reckon we’re going to see em again soon enough!

8.) 27 Sep 2018 22:31:11
Bowyer was immense in Europe the shining light in that team. Also viduka.

9.) 28 Sep 2018 00:30:42
Don't forget Dom Matteo who scored that goal at the San Siro.

10.) 28 Sep 2018 19:17:10
Harry Kewell.

11.) 29 Sep 2018 14:48:05
Corky We certainly didn't overachieve. If anything, we more underachieved because at the peak of our powers we were a game for anyone. Looking back, one of the errors I believe O'leary made was the underuse of Robbie Keane who was a greater goal threat than Smith.

12.) 01 Oct 2018 11:45:40
Grayson, don't mention the Kboy ;)

13.) 01 Oct 2018 17:40:13
I now he left under a cloud but he was a bit special.

06 Aug 2018 21:30:32
Woods from Brentford is arriving apparently.
Great but if the word is true.

1.) 06 Aug 2018 22:46:57
Would be sensational if true. We'd have some team and bench. I'm still hoping Maddison as well and Kalas but trying not to be greedy.

2.) 06 Aug 2018 23:23:51
Hope you are right, if so we are set for central midfield with Woods, Forshaw, Klich, Baker and Phillips. As I see it it would be Woods and Forshaw first choice if the deal happens and when Forshaw is back from injury. Klich has a massive chance to make midfield his own tho after that performance.

3.) 07 Aug 2018 11:29:17
With Forshaw out for 6 weeks who's to say he will get back in the team? :)

30 Jul 2018 21:58:05
Vydra is a proper footballer imo and a proper loss for Leeds.
Bamford the same, a good player but can he get the 20 odd plus goals we need? A few years back for Boro he was superb so its definitely in him but i'm still not sure.
The 2 Pboro lads. Marriot for me is a big risk after one good season so let fat Frank have him but Madison looks like an assist machine. Stats can be deceptive especially in lower leagues.
We really need one if not two CBs though and i'm pretty sure the boss knows the same.

1.) 31 Jul 2018 09:36:56
The club were not happy with his attitude or wage demands and apparently his fitness was also suspect. If he was all that why wouldn't Frank want to keep him but Derby are keen to sell. Do we really want that kind of player at ER?

2.) 31 Jul 2018 12:55:14
Not sure he was a loss. Think he was above himself, how many have we seen have a prolific season sold for ten mill plus then bomb the next 3 years. Plus not sure what he would have added to team moral or if he would have gotten that head through the dressing room door.

3.) 31 Jul 2018 17:55:31
Having subsequently read of the reasons the deal fell through i have to agree Alf and BIGE. Good player though.

30 Jul 2018 21:45:48
Viera cash is a good deal. The lad showed promise but his poor passing skills would never work under Bielsa. Rather cash in now then get maybe 2 mill after him sitting on bench for a season.

1.) 31 Jul 2018 11:57:28
i agree but the deal still isn't great, his reputation at the moment is at least worth 15 mil, even though he isn't as good as people think.

2.) 31 Jul 2018 19:25:20
#CORKWHITE1.If you believe that is a good deal for Viera, I have a bridge I would like to sell you. You mention in the post above this that you think that signing Marriott and/ or Maddison would be a mistake and tbh you have a fair point. Then you seem happy to write off an England U20 international after a fairly average season by the standard he set himself in his first season, worse than that you probably don't even see the contradiction.

Watched the Vinnie Jones, Gascoigne talk sport show. Wasted an hour really and forgot how much a tit Vinnie can be. Poor Gazza hasn't got a clue and Jones boasting about his success. Sad really. And I'm sick of Leeds fans saying Jones could play. He really couldn't play at all. c'mon he made Chris Kamara look like Sheridan.
If he was anyway decent, Wilko would of kept him after promotion but couldn't wait to off him to Sheffield.

1.) 15 Oct 2018 22:35:52
I like Chris Kamara. So blank, he's funny.

2.) 16 Oct 2018 00:50:58
A bit harsh, with respect. Yes, Vinnie couldn’t really ‘play’ in one sense, which is no doubt why Wilko replaced him with McAllister when we got promoted. But IMHO - he - or a player like him - was what we needed then and dare I say now to help take us up. He was central to our promotion in 1990. Tough, physical and noisy - and prepared to read the fortune of those opposition ‘hard men’ who targeted his more skilful colleagues. Is anyone really looking after Saiz or Pablo in that way at the moment? And Gascoigne? I wonder what Southgate would have given to have a player of his creative calibre available to him at the World Cup?

3.) 16 Oct 2018 00:58:57
Ps. And sorry - but I’m on the scotch - Pontus clearly should not have sworn on live tv bearing in mind who may be watching - but for a panel of ‘experts’ to be unable to decide whether Canos head butted Alioski is ‘odd’. My 8 year old asked - ‘why did he do that Dad? ’.

4.) 16 Oct 2018 01:53:21
Wilko said that letting Vinnie go was one of his big mistakes.

5.) 16 Oct 2018 10:58:07
Not quite up there with selling Cantona to the vomits for a piffling £1m like.

6.) 16 Oct 2018 11:48:28
Agree manston. Vinnie was important for our promotion and he could play a bit too, when he wanted to.
Exactly Stafford.

7.) 16 Oct 2018 13:29:52
And Vinnie only got 3 yellows in our promotion winning season. How he got away with that beggars belief.

8.) 16 Oct 2018 15:52:17
Yeah BIGE, another one that used to amaze me with how hegot away with rugby tackles was the (almost) legendary Gunner Halle :)

9.) 17 Oct 2018 17:28:46
Loved Sir Vincent! Wilko brought him to sort out dressing room issues, which he did almost immediately by chinning Bobby Davison, who Wilko saw as a trouble maker. I think it was his debut, when he came on as a sub, so fired up, he charged on, caught his studs and fell over! Loved his pre match Hawaii Five O rowing too! Character!

09 Oct 2018 20:52:45
Pontus Jansson. He has been immense of late. And for once surely no one can argue with that!

1.) 09 Oct 2018 22:18:25
Yep, looks like he's decided to give us his all, from sounding like he was on his way out back to cult hero and I'm glad about it :)

2.) 09 Oct 2018 22:30:39
i was worried about him this season, wondered if he wanted out and then when not starting he could of dropped his head and thrown toys out of the pram, instead he waits and when back in the team is immense. His attutude makes him a leeds hero and if he gets us up maybe even a legend.

3.) 10 Oct 2018 08:17:16
You can tell Berms is a writer! Takes almost 60 words to say, I agree!

4.) 10 Oct 2018 10:37:26
to right! I see myself as the Charles Dickens of this site. took him five pages to say the street was a s@@t-hole and the weather was poxy. plus dickens also didn't rate KP.

5.) 10 Oct 2018 11:17:06
I never knew Dickens had opinions on the modern game! Maybe we should make him a club Ambassador? The Dickens Suite?

6.) 10 Oct 2018 12:23:01
BW Chales mother Elizabeth told my grandad that it was KP who inspired him to write Great Expectations.

7.) 10 Oct 2018 15:53:46
Bub's nuts about KP :)

8.) 10 Oct 2018 16:44:29
Nostradamus didn’t rate KP either Bermo, but he’s also been consistently wrong!? 😉😉😉.

9.) 10 Oct 2018 19:22:28
KP was the inspriation behind great expectations. he was the base for Magwitch slow raggity and stocky. If magwitch was based on Aliskio he would of been quicker and not be caught and put in prison.

10.) 10 Oct 2018 23:46:15
Reckon KP would have got that pork pie off Pip before Magwitch.

11.) 11 Oct 2018 08:43:13
that really made me chuckle BIGE.

12.) 11 Oct 2018 14:49:17
Me too bige. Hilarious.

04 Oct 2018 21:00:46
I'm actually amazed some fans don't seem delighted we are top of the table. Playing great football, 70% possession most games, playing teams off park what more do you want. Ok we really should have more points because apart from Swansea we have been the better team in every game. Maybe another couple of experienced players would of been nice but the manager has his way of working and I appreciate that. Anyway I'm absolutely over the effing moon with the start to the season.
MOT brothers.

1.) 04 Oct 2018 21:23:34
Some people are only happy when they're moaning Corky, with 'em, bring on the champions :)

2.) 05 Oct 2018 08:27:30
Overall really pleased but being a Leeds fan worries that we will eventually be made to pay for our lack of clinical finishing.

01 Oct 2018 22:50:28
Did ausman really win poster of the season or am i going mad?

01 Oct 2018 21:10:20
Player of the season so far lads?
Cooper Klich Hernandez or Roofe for me. I would of said Hernandez but he's missed a few so I'll go Cooper. He's been superb and our defensive record backs it up. he's also been a proper leader, cut out his rash challenges and his passing from the back has been different class. Just pleased for the lad that after so much criticism last couple of years that he's stuck at it and hasn't buckled one bit. He has so much character and that has to be admired.

1.) 01 Oct 2018 21:28:31
Hate to say this but I agree with you Corky about coops and can’t argue with your rationale. I’ve been one of coops’ biggest knockers (and how I like big knockers! ) now I’m one of his biggest fans. You could say he’s had a corking start to the season.

2.) 01 Oct 2018 21:45:17
Always liked super Captain Cooper, and I'm glad others are coming to like him now. Has to be said tho, he has come on leaps and bounds this season thanks to Bub and his coaching team.

3.) 02 Oct 2018 02:24:14
Always been a fan of coops. He is a 100% er and does seemed to have cut out the rash tackles too.
Pontus is doing ok too. Bit of a toss up whether or not I’d keep him or put Berardi back. Spose giving Pontus a bit more game time is fair.
Def put hern in for Alioski! But as last year. Hern is not a 90 min 50 game a season player so would use him sparingly.
With our system not sure Forshaw and kp and Klich can play together which causes a problem. Don’t think kp or Klich will be dropped anytime soon.

4.) 02 Oct 2018 11:22:37
Hard to say this early with injuries and what not but Coops has def improved a lot since Bielsa came. Think players we have missed most are Roofe and Pablo. Douglas been consistent with his displays also Klich. Its still a plan in progress and the longer they play together the better they will get. Right now would give it to Klich with Coops and Douglas a point behind.

5.) 02 Oct 2018 12:25:40
cant argue against coops which is great as I like him although at times i think he is formy or can be found wantin but this season he has been great but for me it has to be klicht don't it? great goal return, played well and been a class above. roofe and pablo would be in there maybe if not injured

biggest underperformer for me ayling, he ain't been bad but i think he is best in the league and love him and this year for me he has been little under par!

6.) 02 Oct 2018 13:56:33
Klich for me - he's in great form.

7.) 02 Oct 2018 14:46:03
Agree regarding Ayling. Was excellent first couple but since only been ok. He can do a lot better so let’s hope he starts it tonight.

Good player he is I've never really trusted the man.
He’s always banged on about how much he loves Leeds but I reckon he’d be gone in a shot if offered higher level football and pay rise. Then again I might be wrong?

George the sign of a good team is nothing to do with the bench it’s winning games. Same team more or less last year was pony but looked different class yesterday. I see your point though.

Great great player one of our best ever. A tad lazy but he was a big unit so chasing down wasn’t a strong point of his. He did have Alan Smith to do all that though to be fair!
Would still make my all time Leeds 11.

Good shout Notts although I thought Alioski was very good last twenty minutes at weekend. He really drove us on.
But I agree Harrison looks like he could really wip some balls in from the left as opposed to cutting back on his left from the opposite side.
