And he will be backed. What last night demonstrated is that if you put out a team that commits 100% to the cause you will have Elland Road rocking. Have not had atmosphere like that for a little no long time. As they say. build it and they will come.

It was incredible last night, atmosphere electric and less than 30 k, Saturday is a full house, so it’s going to be amazing!

Great performance and atmosphere. One complaint should have been 6.

Disappointed we didn’t get into double figures personally.

Despite all the doom and gloom on transfers to date, how many are going to the opening game against Stoke irrespective of any further recruits to the cause by then?

Stoke 5 Leeds 0.

2.) 21 Jul 2018 14:30:05
How can you thins down a question on attending or do I take it that 1 will attend and 2 will not?

3.) 21 Jul 2018 14:49:14
I will be there.

4.) 21 Jul 2018 14:52:19
I think about 24500 will attend stoke game. That will dwindle to 19000 quite quickly. Nothing against you mate. All about being out of our depth.
Of course. Happy to be wrong.

5.) 21 Jul 2018 14:55:00
So will I.

6.) 21 Jul 2018 15:07:53
Full house for the Stoke game, including me:) bring it on! I am looking forward to seeing what Charlie Adam has to say after the game. He seems to think that they're going to walk it this season.

7.) 21 Jul 2018 16:14:26
Opening game of the season - Over 30K at ER.

8.) 21 Jul 2018 17:41:43
So, is it doom and gloom without a ball being kicked? . Do we still have most of last year's no hopers?
How many matches before we think it's all over again?

9.) 21 Jul 2018 18:02:08
Notts Someone in our midst seems to disagree with your travel plans in a fortnight.

10.) 21 Jul 2018 20:44:25

11.) 21 Jul 2018 23:58:27

Interesting. Two goals conceded but nether from open play. Clearly we can’t defend. Worried that if we continue to concede a goal a game and only score 3 or 4 ourselves we may be in a relegation battle before you can say “what is going on and I don’t want to wake up so please don’t pinch me”.

Ed001 thought this was a banter sight. Just because someone has an alternate view or opinion about this doesn’t make them ignorant. Only an insecure individual would overreact in this manner. Your supposed to moderate and edit, I assumed. Not lay into people who happen to disagree with you. I don’t normally step into the gutter to engage in such verbal fisticuffs but in your case I will and basically call it as I see it. If you find it difficult to take an opposite opinion on board I suggest you find another forum you moron.

Coffee32

{Ed001's Note - are you really this stupid? I am not the moron who is arguing out of sheer ignorance and knows nothing of the situation but refuses to listen when someone explains it to them. A moron is the imbecile who is too stupid to learn. Look in the mirror if you are still confused little boy. Now run along and play elsewhere.}

Swansea’s whole approach was at best shabby and at worst deceitful. If I was the player’s agent I would be agreeing with him that there was no way in which he would be renewing his contract with these people when they had basically screwed him over. I would also tell him to get his head down and put in the effort and see what the future brings. The only condition on which I would advise signing a new financially beneficial contract would be where it contained a crystal clear buy out clause set at a suitable value. Ultimately if his contract runs down he can leave freely. If Swansea were due any compensation subsequently it is unlikely to be anywhere near their valuation, based on what I have seen in the past.

Coffee32

{Ed001's Note - you really are making baseless accusations. Swansea were far from deceitful. Disorganised yes, but nothing deceitful about it. They were perfectly open about needing to offload some players to make savings and who they wanted to offload and James was never in that list of players. They made it plain from the start they didn't want to lose him.}

Disagree. If it was the norm or more prevalent for players to have medical and then for deals to fall through we would not all be so worked up about it. It happens but rarely and usually only due to failing the medical. Normally when a player goes for a medical the deal has been agreed. If you think about it otherwise the existing chaotic process would be mind bendingly screwed.

Coffee32

{Ed001's Note - disagree all you like but you have no idea what you are talking about whereas I have been doing this for nearly 18 years now and have seen it many times. Why ignorant people always want to argue I have no idea, it is incredibly irritating that someone without a clue refuses to accept they don't know.}

Player doesn’t go for a medical if clubs have not agreed a deal, would be waste of time. I suggest swans speaking with forked tongues. Would like to act EFL if that is in the spirit if the game and respectful of other teams and more fundamentally own player.

Let’s stuff em at ER when they visit.

Coffee32

{Ed001's Note - that is not true. Players have been known to take a medical with another club without the knowledge of their club in the past. In this case, the deal looked set to be done with just haggling over when Leeds paid, as Swans wanted money up front so they could fund a signing. Then Bony's move away eased their finances by removing their highest paid player from the wage bill, so they no longer needed to offload anyone. With Leeds still refusing to compromise over payment terms the deal fell through as Swans had no need to compromise either any more.}

Harris doesn’t understand the concept of double standards. He can’t count that high.
