Being linked with a few, but Scheperen is already in talks with Ipswich, and they have signed Oevelen as back up. Tzolakis linked with us, but it looks like he's off to Hull. Suzuki seemingly is interested, but the price quoted is around £26m.

There'll be others, but it's slow progress.
Disagreement with Torino re Perri, who wants an option to buy, but we're insisting on an obligation. On past performance on loans, I expect us to give in.

So just 41 days remaining of the window. Not long at all now, especially given what still needs achieving this window.

Just 2 signings made within half the window, and (with Darlow disastrously leaving) no number 1 gk signing.

LUFC have friendlies soon, with, as it stands, currently either last season's 4th choice Cairns or a keeper, Perri, who Farke has no trust in and is looking to offload from the club.



This needs sorting ASAP, as it's not in any way ideal preparation for the start of the EPL season, nor a good look on our recruitment dept imo. ?

I'm with Baz, they must have known Darlow was not signing, and if they are listening to Perri offers, they obviously want him out.
They need to get something in soon, ideally to join the pre-season friendlies in some capacity.

But, why you weren't bothered by Darlow leaving makes little logical sense, imo, with Leeds floundering to sign even one keeper, let alone two.

My thoughts: Is Perri an absolute lost cause? He's number 1 atm and we've invested in him. Do we have gk coaches who could focus on his weaknesses?

Then maybe we need another, bit like we did with Darlow.

I'd target Jason Steele, especially if Peri stays. I believe Steele is better than Darlow, but it's just my opinion.
