Didn't get the Birthday result but looked good for an hour. Then Arsenal refreshed with real class. Great improvement from same fixture last year. Team played well generally although Madueke was given too much room down their left all day. Their 2nd goal was class. We all know we lack creativity in midfield. DCL got little or no service again.
What a bunch of moaners in the Arsenal season ticket area even as Champions. Didn't cheer up and back their team until after 1st goal. We're building and it's slower than we'd all like but it looks solid. Should be a much better season. Hopefully we can continue to improve the squad in the next few windows.

They are an awful fanbase OAS, you never hear them till they get in front. Remember Highbury the library.

Going to Emirates on Sat. Bro is season ticket holder and invites me along. Last year was a humiliation. All his mates wanted me to come to every game after 5:0. ?. Will be interesting to see how much we've improved since then. I'd settle for a narrow loss but have a feeling it might be a 1972 repeat and we sneak it.

Not excepting much from this game, as we normally play like crap after one of the breaks. But expecting a decent game and an improvement from last years two embarrassments - a point would be amazing and 3 would be out of this world.

Great team performance. Well done to DF and the rest of the management and playing teams. Will the 4 season long Farke Out bores now lay off please. And a request to my fellow positives can you please stop engaging with the negative ones, it only encourages them.

I'm looking at all these posts and I'm wondering. To me the biggest thing tonight is how Harry Wilson is not in the game. What's happened? He doesn't look anything like the player he was at Fulham. Hopefully it's temporary but you can see why he's not starting.

Wilson didn't have a terrible game tonight, but I do think it's going to take some time before he understands Farke's system and can adapt to it.
I'm pretty confident he'll work it out, as his work ethic is strong according to Farke and his coaching staff.

He'd built an understanding with his teammates in his time at Fulham. In his role, that simply takes time when moving to a new club, with different players. That time here has to come on the training ground, not in important league games. It will click soon, and all the critics will need to eat their words.

I'm in 100% agreement with Staffs. This site should be called Leeds Whingers rather than Leeds Banter. I know we all want the best for our club and the best way to achieve that is to just get behind our team and the management and enjoy our season.
If it starts to look like it's going to be a crap season then that's the time for moaning. On the other hand if it's a decent season let's not spoil it with constant moaning. We would probably all enjoy a more positive site.

I'm well happy regarding this window 6p.
We have England's No1 keeper (in waiting) , and we have Tariq, who I think will be proven to be as good, if not better, than any other CB in the EPL. Plus, we have Elvedi, who is also a proven top CB (both a massive improvement on Pascal) .
We have Wilson (who I have rated for a few years) for nothing, when we were prepared to £30m last year.
We have cover at LB (finally) , and he looks decent.
We have got this speedster from Frankenfurter, who might just turn out to be Rapha Mk 2.
If we secure another striker in the last few hours, it's an 11/10 window for me.
We should all be very positive imo. ??

Oh im very happy assuming Bard and Bahoya get over the line. I'd give the window an 8.5/10. The lack of a striker signing accounts for minus 1, and too many loans/options/obligations outgoing for -0.5.
But Trafford, Muharemovic, Wilson, Zetterer, Elvedi, Bard, and Bahoya are in.
Darlow, Meslier, Ramazani, Piroe, Gnonto, Harrison, Struijk, Gelhardt, Byram are out.
The squad now feels streamlined without feeling outrageously lacking.
If we had a huge injury crisis, you'd back the likes of Lienou, Mills, Cresswell to help until January as true emergencies.
What feels really exciting is that three signings feel genuine starters, three feel competitive squad members (for now) , and Zetterer feels like an unknown a bit. Compared to only Darlow and Struijk feeling like genuinely noticeable exits.
