So Leeds with their vastly superior revenue to the 3 promoted clubs have spent £90 million while Hull and Ipswich have spent double and Coventry £50 million more than Leeds.

We are in a very good place and our owners deserve a lot of credit but please do not kid yourselves or use PSR or whatever the latest financial restriction excuse is called to think our lowest spend in the EPL is because of these financial restrictions.it is prudent spending designed to maximise our US owners and investors return which I fully accept they are not in the football club ownership game for charitable reasons and of course they will want a piece of the pie to make it worthwhile but I personally think they are taking too much for themselves as Sunday showed we lack at least 2 more quality additions to be considered a top 6 challenging side which probably would cost at least £50 to £60 million.

Oh well mustn't complain and expect too much I suppose is the brainwashed, obedient and compliant consensus after all it's only our 2nd season in the EPL and we have to be realistic and not entitled and not aim too high as it's only our 2nd season.steady building is the way because it's only our 2nd season.have I mentioned it's only our 2nd season and we shouldn't expect too much??

Yes our owners have been very clever, haven't they indeed, but that's their perogative and I'm sure as long as the majority of the fan base seem to easily accept this as that's just the way it is our owners will give us another lowest spend in the EPL next season.

In my opinion they could easily give Farke a helping hand in January and at least try and bring in a couple of new additions we all recognise are needed on loan if need be and I know there will be the push back reason of it's not that easy to find these players that potentially have to be content with a subs bench blar blar blar.well try I say, look at Man City or Arsenal young B team players at least, look around South America and Africa like Brighton and Brentford seem to do year on year.

Reach for the stars I say and don't settle for just okay because a top 6 finish and European football brings even larger financial rewards so I hope our owners can see this season is a real opportunity to establish Leeds ahead of the likes of Spurs, Villa and Newcastle and on a par with Brentford and Brighton.now I don't think that's too much to ask!

Very interesting posts by bright and Cheshire. Food for thought. I'd rather me mid table tbh. Not too tight or big spenders. Looks like we might be tight or over performing. Anyway of finding those figures for end of last season bright? Be interesting to see how promoted clubs faired last year ?

It's actual laughable that his "answer” to all our problems is 2 signings at a cost of £60 million would get us in the top 6.

As if every club in the world wouldn't spend the extra "£60 million” if that guaranteed you top 6.

The club have said multiple times we are / were close and had to sell pascal to meet the demands.

I wish we would overspend and gamble on getting in the champions league and then gamble on making it past the group stages for the next 6 years, oh wait, hasn't that happened before?

The answer Baz is clearly is not very much if anything, given that we spend more than 85% of our income on the players. Then there is the ground to run, all the back room staff, match day security, lawyers etc. I would hazard a guess, most if not all the stakeholders are well under water and will likely remain that way until the ownership changes.

Surely making the club over time more successful generates more for the stakeholders to keep them happy.
We are not Man Utd that still generates millions upon millions on just their name, not from their achievements which are less than a shadow compared to their past.
The 49er's I'm certain want Leeds United to become more successful and not to be static.

Yes Ani the big payday for owners and other minority stakeholders will be when the club is sold for a whopping load more than 49ers purchased Leeds from Radz.
.once stadium expansion and regeneration projects have been completed and with Leeds United hopefully still firmly established in EPL.
