Three of the seven transfers that were made in the summer have been in my opinion exceptional.
Muharemovic and Trafford's contributions so far we comment about often with their consistent and positive displays.
The one for me at the moment who slightly goes under the radar is Elvedi, his performances have been outstanding.
He hasn't put a foot wrong so far and has a 95% pass accuracy which out from the back is probably better than Rodon's.

I do feel some sympathy for Bijol as he did well last season, especially with his aerial threat, but Elvedi has hit the ground running in such an impressive style that I imagine Farke has little choice when knowing who to start.

It's not easy to arrive at a new club not to mention a different league for some and it can take a while before some players bed into the team.
I look forward with great anticipation to see how Harry Wilson and Bohoya are going to enhance our attacking potential.
However it is important to remain patient with these players and not to over display our frustrations as fans.

Agreed. 3 fantastic signings, 2 wait and see but appear to have great potential and 2 in Bard and Zetterer who, let's be honest, did not have a great first outing but we should not write them off, they were really only bought to provide cover and squad depth and we should trust that they might be able to do so if (hopefully not) required.

Tbf to Zetterer I still think he was only maybe culpable for one of those six goals against Chelsea. All those goals excluding the pen were very well executed. I still think in that second half our defense didn't react quick enough to their silky skills.

Anyhow thats by the by, I do believe the recruitment was very good in terms of how some of the players have adapted so quickly and that our defense is going to be very difficult to penetrate this season, it's been a long time since I've been so confident about it.
So many clubs focus so much on attack these days that they appear to overlook how important a solid defensive structure is.

Tarek in particular, Trafford and Elvedi are all very good players and have settled in well.

Leeds spent a substantial £80 million on the first two so you would hope and expect them to be very good.

And with regards to Leeds being hard to beat

Yes Leeds are unbeaten in 5 league matches but could be said, Leeds were a tad fortuitous not to have lost to both Palace and Brentford.

And Brighton had 20 shots against Leeds and could have very easily won late on ; although Leeds definitely deserved at least a draw.

So with a little less fortune it could have been 3 defeats in 5 matches for Leeds United

And aside from Newcastle match Leeds have struggled to score.

A tad fortunate or not,9 points is very welcome indeed, with quite stern tests awaiting in next 4 matches.

Nico was probably out best player last weekend OP, gave the ball away 2wice but worked his arse off to retrieve, very assured with ball at feet, and constantly looking for threats

I was very impressed with him, but again I will say Wharton was best player on field for me.

I don't doubt Wharton as an incredible weapon in the Premiership but what should be remembered is that this is very early in the season and Elvedi and Muharemovic probably in all likelihood will only get better as the season progresses, Rodon might even find it very difficult to slot back in.

Baz no matter what money is spent you can only hope players adapt and become worthy of their price tag but you just can't expect it, sadly it doesn't always work like that in football.

A big test for our defense and goalkeeper will be against Arsenal, we might lose that game especially after Brightons recent mauling of them. I'm hoping we will make it very difficult for Arsenal, regardless of the result.

Hard to judge bard on 15 mins Vs Chelsea even if we conceded twice when he came on. He put himself into a few tackles.

What I've seen of Wilson so far, I would say that he's trying too hard to make an impression.

Once he calms down and starts playing the way he really can then we will see him finding the passes to set up others as well as the goals starting to flow.

Think you're spot on their re Wilson, Cleggy. We see it frequently, where a player tries so hard to get the fans onside immediately, and tries too hard, rather than just relaxing, maintaining composure, and allowing their natural play to come to the fore. I'm sure Farkey will be reassuring him, and banging that message home!

There is no doubt Wilson is a talented player and hopefully will at some point contribute.

But unless he replaces Okafor its difficult to foresee him starting matches.

Not sure if you can try too hard. From what I've seen it's poor distribution and choice making for Wilson where as Gary and elvis have nailed it. Simple. Stop trying to make excuses for him.

Trafford tends to dither on the ball a bit, and quick strikers might catch him out as Wissa nearly did, and his distribution could be better, but his shot stopping and command of his area are top class. Elvedi has been a real surprise in a good way, but for me our best new signing is Muharemovic who has been consistently top drawer, his positional awareness is fantastic being rarely cought out of position, regularly pullling off clean last ditch tackles, and even scoring with an overhead kick, I foresee the usual suspects sniffing round him next summer.

Not to make excuses for Wilson, but we shouldn't forget we were all saying the same thing this time last season about DCL, when he had a bit of a ropey start [also missing a penalty etc]. I think Wilson is undoubtedly talented, and will definitely come good.

Hopefully he gets over his injury, comes back after the international break and hits the ground running - a second start so to speak.
