It's nice to see people being optimistic again! I also can't see any negative comments from George :-)
I know I said this last summer and probably list all credibility, however I've got a good feeling about the coming season.
Keep it bright, get ready to hold tight, because the future is white.

I'm reserving judgment til end of summer. Swedish Ant and Dec (he actually looks like a mixture of them) looks a good acquisition to me but I want more and we need more. We should be looking at Winnall, Wells, Lambert and Vydra imho.

Best be cautious for a few more years. Makes it easier to be proudly right when things go wrong.
Well I reckon after a maybe iffy start the new look monk team will gel and be right in the big mixing bowl come end of season.

Things look to be going the right way but monk needs to sort defence out. Cost us ten points, at least, last season with sunday league defending. So need two new faces in back four. Wood will get 15-20 goals and hopefully new guy will. Botaka if playing and deployed right has 8-10 in him so we need another midfielder who can add the same. Mowatt should be that man but the way he played last season gives me no confidence he is. If playing attacking football didgeridoo will add some and cooper as well I think. Phillips will as well if he gets some games. Stokes is playing well and is probably as good as anyone who is available in the market, at our wages. So optomistic but as georgie boy said need to see who we get and who we lose before giving my seal of approval.

Bige good post mate, agree completely at least one CB maybe 2 possibly this geezer kyle Bartley from Swansea may fit the bill and my other 2 players would be a keeper someone like Mcgovern NI keeper and Limbombe as another option with pace on wing or a second striker option, then I think we would be set up to have a right good go at the Top 6. Looking forward to seeing GMs and Peps style of play and tactics this season Mot fellow leeds optimists! 😂.

Just seen people slagging this Swedish player off on Twitter. He's not even completed his deal yet, what is wrong with our fans!
I'd rather judge a player once he's had a chance to wear the shirt and demonstrate what he can do.
Sad today but some of our fans need to take a long look at themselves and grow up!

Totally agree OD, very sad indeed. I've only seen him play, like most of the so called fans on twitter I imagine, on youtube. How can you judge a player before you've seen him play full games? If only scouting was as easy as that, all teams would be saving a lot of money.
Hope he turns out to be a gem and can't see him being a bench warmer at £2m plus add ons.

Danny it's unreal the pessimism of some fans like I said in my earlier post. The new sponsors new manager a new striker and more signings to come. How fans of other clubs would love this sort of news. There a football fans looking at papers and online and seeing nothing. And some of ours go ah well we'll see.

Geogr I'm 5 7 and little but I'm semi pro boxer and keeper my reflexes are quick. Also an ex minder so have beat at least 5 a time and more to give chance. This is silly as well never meet but if your stats are true I give you less chance than Leeds winning champs league I beat gangs one fat lump has no chance.

Hi guys, regarding my post about the transfer window, I thought the rules and timings had changed, but may have got confused.
Regarding Leeds, I think j we will make some decent signings this year.
Oh and I like the look of the new away kit, looks a bit Leicester'ish, so maybe we will perform our own miracle and win the league!

Guys what's the situation with the transfer window this summer? I know it's changed but have lost track with it all.

Well, this summer we will be linked with every decent player available, and many that aren't. Some of our better youngsters will be sold. We will sign a few questionable players, some who none of us will have ever heard of. And then, on transfer deadline day, we will try to sign at least one real quality player, and the anticipation will be almost too much to bear. But sadly the clock will beat us, and we won't quite get the signing over the line in time. That's more or less it, sadly.

2016/ 17 It will be all good stuff, we will keep everyone, kit will be great, grass will grow at Elland Rd, will buy at least 5-6 truly great players, all in June/ early July so they can bed in. Pre season games against B Munich, R Madrid, Rangers, Liverpool (all at home for free) and a tour to Brazil
Monk will get backroom team he needs, we get over 17000 ST holders and we will sign a true global superstar on deadline day. That is more or less it gladly.

The only explanation I can think of is that your eyes were dazzled by the brightness of the shell suite you were wearing when you met her, which in tern blinded you from her uglyness!
