Remember Mad Mick, Martyn, Woody, Bermondsey and all the other legends.

But more importantly do you remember when this site was fun and a laugh every single day, including laughing at our own misfortunes and injustices.

This was throughout all our trials and tribulations to get to the promised land and and end up in best position both in terms of credible financial security and playing squad in twenty plus years?

Sadly the site is becoming more and more about its contributors jockeying for pole position or notoriety and seldom about the team, or games.

Now I'm the first to say I'm a walking contradiction here, as I always promote ignore it if you don't like it, but for the first time ever I'm thinking is it worth it anymore it's getting fractured and tiresome, dare I say boring.

And if it's only going to be about individuals proving that
only their narrative counts, maybe time for a sabbatical me thinks.

Ed's do a fantastic job and suspended or permanently removed individuals who crossed the line, but I genuinely do not understand why it's gone in this direction.

Maybe see you again after a break, cheers.

It's just about opinions. Some are vindictive others aren't. I take most with a pinch of salt. Say my piece. Move on. Don't really care about most other opinions. Some are reasonable. Most not. I think the main thing is to try and be dignified and understand others don't agree with you, and not care about it.

As much as possible.
Don't think bermo or integrity were ever humorous tbh. Anyway. My opinion.

It may surprise some but I appreciate everyone's contribution on this forum although it does look vindictive and hateful sometimes from one to another, I'm not convinced there's any real nastiness.

We are all passionate Leeds fans with differing opinions on here which I find very healthy, it does sometimes go over the top and a little too heated, but we do have a choice to sit it out and not dig in.

I think we've more or less all had our moments, apart from you Class, you're incredibly measured and balanced poster on here, you my friend bring the normality to this sometimes crazy box of frogs.
You are greatly appreciated by myself.

Ive traveled a lot around this planet in my life and on my travels I've met many Leeds fans from far and wide and it's very rare where face to face I've not had a special affinity with a Leeds brother.
I think where it can go wrong on an Internet football forum is that we are not face to face.
Posts are often misread or misunderstood but also when you are hidden, the human effect is lost.
I'm sure i would find a very positive connection with any Leeds fan on this forum when we are communicating about our amazing football club.

So i wouldn't get too upset by the perceived friction it's not as bad as it appears, or at least I hope it isn't ?.

Hope you decide to come back at some point Class; Class by name and Class by nature. I have always appreciated your contribution because it's always authentic and well balanced.

I know how you feel, it does get a bit loathsome at time around here, and I myself took a month or two away last year, but in the end, everyone has a valid and valued contribution to make even if it grinds at times. I agree, a bit more banter wouldn't go a miss!

I'll say this, even though me and Baz seldom agree on much or anything, when he had his enforced "sabbatical, " I genuinely missed his contribution. It's what makes the world go around, well until it stops!

Me and Baz, will agree on this, we will both miss your contribution to the site.

This site is made all the better from posters like yourself, your clearly wet knowledgeable on our subject matter so you can't be finking about yabba Dabba doing 1.

Thanks Chris succinct as always my friend ? and many thanks for the really kind posts above and, truly just to clarify I genuinely have no beef with any particular individual (cue Monty python life of Brian) but just missed the laughs rather than the jousting which is fine but got a bit full on and the biggest theme of the site, as opposed to the team.

Now I have an excellent offer from an old mucker Jeff (if you know you know) to lead the Leeds stadium improvement project so that will tie me up for a bit but have put a note in the diary for 10 October Chris, as it's an easy banker away game why not see where we go. But ALAW!

That's simply not true at all Staffs as I have regularly stated on here that Trafford is a good keeper

My point, and its a valid point, I would rather the recruitment had spent a large wedge of £45 million on forward players than a gk.
