Anybody who was there know why Alioski was subbed?

Tewitlander

1.) 30 Mar 2019 22:20:36
He was getting beat a few too many times 😊.

2.) 31 Mar 2019 10:43:21
The benefit of Alioski at left back is his ability to get forward in all sorts of positions, the disadvantage is that sometimes when he should be defending he is forward in all sorts of positions! Perhaps because of his international duty, he wasn’t as quick to get back! See the first goal today.

Douglas was brought on to address that but the penalty came from Douglas being in an attacking position when the ball was lost, they attacked in numbers and Ayling was out of position as well and cooper forced to tackle.

I guess it’s a risk of our attacking style, but sometimes we are very vulnerable at the back. Bailey back in goal today also made the defence a bit less confident I thought.

See that a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family are buying Newcastle.

Don't they know they could get Leeds for a lot less money.

Plus.

The people of Leeds are a lot more amiable.

The girls are far better looking.

You can understand what people say.

The food is better.

It is warmer.

Finally it is 90 miles south down the A1 so nearer your home! 😁🤣😁.

Good try Tewit!

2.) 28 May 2019 14:32:55
Plus plenty of sheep around Leeds and the odd camel,!

24 May 2019 19:12:02
Just seen on Twitter a video of Ezgjan Alioski getting fit again after his op.

They are getting him to hit a tyre with a lump hammer. Then they teach him how to box! That should come in handy next time we play Villa. 🤣🤣😁.

What is going on, Leeds Utd will make a decision on Bielsa in the next few days, is it not Bielsa we were waiting on, now Radz is thinking it over,

2.) 24 May 2019 23:35:31
Whitey Bub has obviously asked that Radz get his cheque book out and to a certain level otherwise he's off. Good on Bub. That's the way to do it. The squad requires a spend of £35m to get us over the line automatically. Fulham, Cardiff and either Fat Frank or Dean Smith will still be in the division. Coming 2nd requires more firepower. Firepower costs.

3.) 25 May 2019 01:54:16
George, thanks, I hope they sort this before he takes his holiday, Radz better call his investor’s to up there investment .

4.) 25 May 2019 09:13:19
35 million gross or nett! The only way I can see us spending 35million this year is by selling 35 - 40 million pounds worth of players, Clarke, KP, Roofe, Pontus?

5.) 25 May 2019 09:54:02
What would getting rid of most of the loanees save per year?

6.) 25 May 2019 12:45:10
Well he has 25 mill left and just got 11 mill from 92 that’s 36 mill so that’s a start.

7.) 25 May 2019 14:39:06
Spaniard I'm all for balancing the books so there are players I would instantly eject. We can begin with many on loan and other deadwood. From the first team, I'd try to get rid of Casilla, Berardi and Forshaw. I'd also listen to offers for Bamford if they came in. That won't bring in much more than £5m but it's a start. If it was necessary for FFP my hand might be forced to sell Pontus which ought to bring in another £7m. Any sales over and above this and we'll weaken ourselves too much. I don't mind Cooper leaving either but so long as he's primarily a squad player next season I don't mind. Let's say we bring in £15m in sales and other expense reductions, wages off books, I'd want us to spend £35m on players so gross is the answer. Net and I think we'd infringe FFP. I don't want KP and Clarke sold.

Daniel James.

5 goals, 8 assists, 545 mins per goal.

The Welsh Messi.

Ezgjan Alioski.

7 goals, 5 assists, 523 mins per goal.

Playing at left back.

Just a thought.

Tewitlander

1.) 22 May 2019 10:00:11
Brilliant analysis. and James is worth £15m!

I actually think the hype around the spygate press conference, and the associated PowerPoint, has upped his profile and thus upped his value

Btw, do you have any stats on Bowen of Hull. He seems to be more effective in his team but that's only a feeling. No basis in fact.

2.) 22 May 2019 10:21:08
Tewi You missed an opportunity to write the "Macedonian Messi".

3.) 22 May 2019 10:40:07
B⚽⚽locks!

George can you delete posts? Then I could rewrite it. It would be so much better with your addition. 😉.

4.) 22 May 2019 10:53:02
Sorry Axe I don't.

I think we really missed Alioski in the playoffs. I know his faults, but his non-stop running and enthusiasm adds so much to the team. Also he is always capable of scoring.

Plus he is a complete nutter, made for us. 😁😁🤣.

5.) 22 May 2019 12:52:54
aloski is a great player his energy and effort makes the tactics and team tick. yes his final ball is not always great but his faults stand out because he is on the ball and effects the game so much, always been a fan of the fella.

6.) 22 May 2019 14:46:58
Said it before, and will say it again, Alioski is made for Leeds. Heart, should, passion, energy and like Tewit says, a nutter. Love him!

7.) 22 May 2019 16:52:51
Berm Rare that I say this but good post.

8.) 22 May 2019 17:02:02
Sorry, have to disagree his failings to me do not outweigh his energy. To call him a lrft back is a misnomer. As a left back he is a big liability. That's why everytime he is picked at left back he plays left wing. Even then his final ball delivery is woefull. I would much rather see a dedicated LB (dOUGLAS OR Pearce) behind O'Dowda, Lowe or Odour.

9.) 22 May 2019 19:10:58
I do like Alioski. don't think he is the best technical leftback/ left wingback at the club but his sheer grit and determination makes him a big player in the white shirt

And with Davis and Odour getting good reviews, could we possibly be looking at offloading Douglas after only a year?
And after Pearce's breakthro season the previous year, could we be looking at him being sold too?

17 May 2019 12:10:46
This one for Berms.

I bought my wife a Pug.

Despite the squashed nose, bulging eyes and rolls of fat, the dog seems to like her. 💣💣. 🤣🤣😁.

1.) 17 May 2019 12:22:08
love it tewit that might make my adult panto this year!

13 May 2019 12:10:11
Roofe is out for Wednesday, so will Bamford be back in?

Forshaw is out, so will Shackelton be in?

Answers on a postcard.

Tewitlander

1.) 13 May 2019 12:25:05
Roberts is out too and possibly Pontus.

2.) 13 May 2019 12:46:41
I think the way it's going if we do get through to Wembley, it'll be a case of, if you're going take you boots with you! 😂😂.

3.) 13 May 2019 13:19:06
Maybe Edmondson before Bambi.

4.) 13 May 2019 13:28:22
Was just about too post the same wex. If he performs like shack. Then why not. ⚽️👍.

5.) 13 May 2019 16:06:08
Suspect Bielsa will start with Bamford and give him a chance to redeem himself but perhaps Edmundson on the bench. Last time no out and out striker on the bench but this time it could be extra time so good to have another option. Perhaps a few of the under 23 penalty takers on the bench to come on if needed!

6.) 13 May 2019 17:05:06
Jeez the most important games of the season and we have no team.

7.) 13 May 2019 17:37:48
Bamford will definitely start. You never know he might have one of his good days. 🙏👍🙊.

8.) 13 May 2019 18:35:47
Alfie, we will have a team! All the guys who have been called on for service this year have generally done well, hard to remember a horror with perhaps the exception of Izzy’s cameo 10 mins. All those potentially involved are drilled in the training sessions and the plans. That’s one of the reasons why he doesn’t like to rush people into the playing 11. This gives Bamford a real opportunity to shine, feeling the responsibility of the ban, bound to get a reaction from the Derby fans, hopefully he will do a Jack! Like George, i'd like to see Kun and Odour on the bench because they can both run and scare defences and Kun has got a good shot on him. This is also time for the crowd to do their stuff, we want a deafening atmosphere from min one!

9.) 13 May 2019 19:06:35
I'd like to see more kun myself.

10.) 13 May 2019 19:24:23
Wex A mirror or selfie mode on your phone.

Spanish.

He just might be taking a very long drive back home.

Down to Dover through the tunnel across Europe to Siberia hop across to Alaska then just drive south. Easy.

Wouldn't be surprised if he tried it though. 😉

Think the most dangerous part of the journey would be going through the Midlands. 🤣😁🤣.

You think it's a joke that a large proportion of my family was annihilated by the Nazis.

Goodbye.

Tewitlander

{Ed001's Note - did anyone say that? No. It clearly was not meant to offend but you are determined to be offended. You could have easily been an adult about it, but instead you make threats and act like a total arse. You really have no place on a banter site as you are a childish brat who gives out lots of stick but gets all precious when ever anyone gives you any stick back. You are just not mature enough to deal with a joke.}

Ed1.
What could be more "offensive and repugnant" than being compared to a Nazi and all that that implies.

You have absolutely no idea what my family went through not so very long ago at the hands of those people. As for your flippant comment, it beggars belief.

I would be extremely careful where you are going with this.

Tewitlander

{Ed001's Note - really? Are you trying to threaten me? If you don't like it go away. It really is that simple. This is not your site, you have been constantly trying to tell people what to think and say and it is not happening. If you can't take a joke then you are too precious for a banter page and I will remove your account for you. Bye bye.}

Wexleeds1/ ED

I find the post extremely offensive and repugnant.

To equate banter posts to Nazism and all that it comes with and implies, is utterly disgusting.

EDs How can you allow such a gross, offensive, abhorrent post like that? Can you please explain.

Tewitlander

{Ed001's Note - seriously? You do realise this is a banter page right? If you find this extremely offensive and repugnant then you really need to get out more.}
